It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of our dear alumnus, German Cabrera III.

German was a lively presence in the classroom. In moments when the room was filled with laughter and cheers, he was often among those who helped bring that warmth and energy to life. He enjoyed sharing the things he was passionate about, whether explaining chemistry concepts, talking about anime, inviting classmates to play basketball, or getting others into mobile games. Many witnessed his humor and lighthearted nature, and his laughter and jokes are among the memories people will continue to carry of him.

Most of all, many remember his persistence in the efforts he made to keep moving forward and grow, no matter what he was facing. Those who grew up alongside him witnessed that journey, and it remains something we remember with pride and inspiration.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this incredibly painful time. May his soul rest in peace.

We are humbly knocking on your kind hearts for any financial assistance to help German’s family with funeral and related expenses during this difficult time.

40th EDSA PEOPLE POWER REVOLUTION COMMEMORATION

𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨, 𝙄𝙨𝙠𝙖𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄𝙨𝙠𝙤𝙨! 🙌

We are pleased to formally welcome all participants to the AFS Internship Program. We look forward to beginning this journey with you as you take part in “A Day in the Life of an AFS Intern” and immerse yourselves in the experiences that the program has to offer.

As you take on this opportunity, we encourage you to actively participate, engage with your fellow volunteers, and make the most of this learning experience.

That being said, kindly check the criteria for the 𝗘𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:

To qualify for a Certificate of Completion, interns must:

✅ Attend all scheduled meetings, activities, and official program engagements.
✅ Incur no more than two (2) absences from meetings and required activities throughout the duration of the program.
✅ Provide proper notice and a valid reason for any unavoidable absence.
✅ Actively assist and contribute to the assigned office or committee.
✅ Fulfill assigned tasks and responsibilities in a timely and satisfactory manner.
✅ Demonstrate professionalism, respect, and adherence to the policies of the Student Government.
✅ Complete the required internship duration and submit all required outputs (when applicable).

⚠️ 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘: Failure to meet the above requirements may result in the non-issuance of a Certificate of Completion.

We are excited to begin this internship with all of you and look forward to a productive and successful program. 💗
