‎Alalahanin na ang wika ay hindi lamang wika bagkus ito rin ang nagbubuklod sa atin at siyang atin nagiging pagkakakilanlan kung ano at sino tayo ngayon. Ito rin ay kaakibat na ng ating malawak, makasaysayan, at makulay na kultura.

At ‎sa araw ng Lunes (Agosto 24, 2026), suotin nang buong pagmamalaki ang mga kasuotang pinoy para sa ating wika at kultura — Dangal ng lahi, suot ang sariling atin.

ANNOUNCEMENT: August 18, 2026 I NO FACE TO FACE CLASSES

Please be informed that classes at all levels are hereby SUSPENDED TOMORROW, August 18, 2026, in accordance with Memorandum Circular No. 128. This suspension is due to the continuous heavy rainfall brought about by Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

This directive is likewise reinforced by the official announcement of Mayor Jeffrey Luriz, ensuring the safety and welfare of all students, teachers, and school personnel.

Thus, we will shift to asynchronous class to ensure the continuous learning of our students. Please monitor your group chats for updates and modular activities from your subject teachers.

Everyone is advised to stay safe and be alert for possible flooding and landslides, especially in high-risk areas. Please be guided accordingly. Keep safe and dry, AHCEFIans.

𝗕𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗧 𝗦𝗔 𝗕𝗨𝗪𝗔𝗡 𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗚𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗢 𝗜𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗗𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗪𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗕𝗨𝗪𝗔𝗡 𝗡𝗚 𝗪𝗜𝗞𝗔 ?

Taun-taon, ipinagdiriwang ng bansa ang Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa tuwing buwan ng Agosto. Pero paano nga ba nagsimula ang pagdiriwang na ito?

Bago magkaroon ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa, nauna munang ipinagdiwang ng mga Filipino ang ‘Linggo ng Wika’. Noong Marso 26, 1946, nilagdaan ni Pangulong Sergio Osmeña ang Proklamasyon Blg. 35 na nagtatakda mula Marso 27 hanggang Abril 2 bilang ‘National Language Week’. Alinsunod ang kauutusang ito sa Batas Komonwelt Blg. 570, na nilagdaan noong Hunyo 7, 1940, na nagtatakda sa Filipino national language at sa pagpapaunlad sa wikang pambansa. Itinapat ang selebrasyon ng ‘Linggo ng Wika’ sa anibersaryo ng kapanganakan ni Francisco Balagtas (Abril 2, 1788 – Pebrero 20, 1862), ang binansagang ‘Prinsipe ng Panulaang Filipino.’

Noong Marso 24, 1954 nang baguhin ni Pangulong Ramon Magsaysay ang pagdiriwang ng ‘Linggo ng Wika’. Sa bisa ng Proklamasyon Blg. 12, inilipat ang ‘Linggo ng Wikang Pambansa’ sa Marso 29 hanggang Abril 4 upang mapagitnaan ang petsa ng anibersaryo ng kapanganakan ni Balagtas. Dahil tumatapat sa panahon ng bakasyon ang Marso at Abril, hindi nakalalahok ang mga paaralan sa pagdiriwang. Dahil dito, muling inilipat ni Pangulong Magsaysay ang ‘Linggo ng Wikang Pambansa’ mula August 14 hanggang 19 ng bawat taon sa bisa ng Proklamasyon Blg. 186 na kaniyang pinirmahan noong Setyembre 23, 1955. Itinapat naman ito sa pagdiriwang ng anibersaryo ng kapanganakan ni Pangulong Manuel L. Quezon, ang binansagang ‘Ama ng Wikang Pambansa’.

Sa huli, ang lingguhan pagdiriwang para sa Wikang Pambansa ay pinalawig ni Pangulong Fidel Ramos. Noong Hulyo 15, 1997, sa bisa ng Proklamasyon Blg. 1041, idineklara niya ang buong buwan ng Agosto bilang ‘Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa’.

Reaching this milestone is no small feat it is a direct reflection of your unwavering dedication, your love for adventure, and the outstanding leadership you have shown within Outfit 167.

When you stand before the board panel in your Type 'A' uniform, remember that you are not there to be tested on things you don't know. You are there to share the story of your scouting journey. Think back to all the trails you have conquered, the community service projects you have poured your heart into, and the moments where you had to lead your fellow scouts through tough challenges.

You have already done the hard work and proven your capabilities; today till tomorrow is simply your moment to let that dedication shine. Take a deep breath and speak with absolute confidence.
