Upper Swan Elementary School Celebrates Nutrition Month 2026

Guided by this year's Nutrition Month theme, "Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat," Upper Swan Elementary School, under the leadership of our School Head, Sir Roderick A. Vea, successfully conducted a month-long celebration that promoted healthy living, proper nutrition, environmental awareness, and active community participation.

The celebration featured a variety of meaningful and engaging activities, including:

🌱 Tree Planting Activity
🧹 Clean-Up Drive
💃 Zumba for Health and Wellness
👩‍🍳 Cook Fest
🍎 Nutritious Food Display
🎨 Poster Making Contest
🎶 Jingle Making Contest
🥛 Simultaneous Water Drinking Activity

These activities provided our learners with valuable opportunities to develop healthy habits, appreciate the importance of balanced nutrition, care for the environment, and showcase their creativity and talents. More importantly, the celebration strengthened the school's commitment to fostering a culture of wellness where every learner is empowered to grow healthy, active, and ready to learn.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated teachers, learners, parents, and stakeholders whose unwavering support and active participation made this celebration meaningful and successful. Together, we continue to uphold the goals of the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN)by promoting access to proper nutrition and encouraging everyone to work hand in hand toward a healthier future.

Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat.
Together, let us continue building a school community where every child is healthy, nourished, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.

💚 Healthy learners. Stronger communities. Brighter futures.

Sir Crisente De la Cruz,

It is not easy to put into words how much your presence has meant to all of us during your two years in Upper Swan ES. In such a short time, you didn’t just lead, you touched lives and built connections.

Your kindness made everyone feel seen and valued. Your approachable nature made it easy for us to share ideas, concerns, and even simple conversations that brightened our days. You led not with authority alone, but with understanding and compassion, qualities that truly set you apart.

We will always admire your intelligence and innovative spirit. You inspired us to think better, do better, and become better versions of ourselves.

Thank you for being patient, for listening, and for believing in us. Thank you for the laughter, the guidance, and the countless moments that made your leadership unforgettable.

As you move forward, please carry with you the gratitude and respect we have for you. Upper Swan ES will always remember you not just as a great leader, but as a wonderful person who made a difference.

You will truly be missed, Sir.

With heartfelt appreciation,
Your Upper Swan ES Family
