CSU APARRI STRENGTHENS GLOBAL RESEARCH PRESENCE WITH 14 SCIENTISTS LISTED IN 2026 AD WORLD SCIENTIFIC INDEX

Cagayan State University Aparri Campus continues to affirm its growing presence in the global research community as fourteen (14) of its faculty researchers have been recognized in the 2026 Alper-Dogger (AD) World Scientific Ranking List, a prestigious international database that evaluates the scientific productivity and impact of researchers worldwide.

This year’s list included Mr. James Agpalza, Prof. Dr. Billy S. Javier, Ms. Glycinea M. De Peralta, Dr. Estela L. Dirain, Prof. Dr. Marie Ann Gladys G. Delos Angeles, Prof. Dr. Matilde L. Malana, Prof. Dr. Angelita S. Rabanal, Dr. Oliver G. Ferrer, Prof. Dr. Lenimfa P. Molina, Dr. Nargloric C. Utanes, Prof. Dr. Antonio C. Cabalbag, Dr. Julieta B. Babas, Prof. Dr. Helen Grace P. Bangi and Prof. Dr. Arlene D. Talosa.

The inclusion of fourteen CSUA scientists in this global ranking highlights the University’s sustained commitment to academic excellence, research productivity, and knowledge generation.

The AD Scientific Index assesses researchers based on a range of indicators, including total citations, h-index, and i10-index, derived from Google Scholar profiles, reflecting both career-long and recent scholarly performance.

Additionally, the rankings offer a comprehensive analysis of scientists’ academic influence and research output, providing valuable insights into institutional research performance at the global, regional, and national levels and serving as a widely used tool for universities and policymakers in academic planning, research development, and institutional benchmarking.

This year’s recognition places CSU among higher education institutions that actively contribute to global scientific discourse, with ranked faculty from diverse academic disciplines highlighting the University’s multidisciplinary research strength and culture of innovation and inquiry.
