What kind of child do you hope to raise? ๐

A child who develops discipline and responsibility.
A child who learns to think independently and believes, "Kaya ko pala."
That is the heart of what we do at Kumon.
We're not simply building academic skills.
We're helping children become Batang Masipag, Batang Disiplinado, at Batang Matalino. โจ

Kumon San Vicente Apalit
Helping raise confident, independent children since 2014 ๐
Peace of Mind. Confidence for Life.
For over 11 years, Kumon San Vicente Apalit Center has been helping childrenโfrom age 3 to high schoolโdiscover the joy of learning and the confidence that lasts a lifetime. Through the Kumon Math and Reading Programs, we nurture independence, discipline, and a genuine love for learning. Our students go beyond worksheetsโthey build habits that lead to excellence both in school and in life. Parents
๐ One of the biggest mistakes parents make is waiting.
Waiting and hoping that their child will eventually catch up in reading.
But when a child struggles to read, every subject becomes harderโand confidence can suffer too.
That's why we always encourage parents not to wait.
Because a child who can read well doesn't just become a better reader.
They become a more confident learner. ๐
๐ฉ If your child is struggling with reading, message us to learn more about the Kumon Reading Program.

๐ Meet Jaja โ Our New Kumon Reading Completer! ๐
Jaja began her Kumon journey in August 2021, while she was in Grade 3 and classes were still greatly affected by the pandemic.
Her mom enrolled her because she was having difficulty reading. Like many children, the journey was not always easy.
Jaja would sometimes lose confidence quickly when lessons became challenging. There were moments of discouragement, moments of katamaran, and moments when she simply grew tired of doing worksheets.
But one of the beautiful things about growth is that it doesn't require perfection.
It requires perseverance.
And thankfully, Jaja never walked the journey alone.
With the unwavering support of her parents and the guidance of Teacher Ghie, she kept moving forwardโone worksheet, one page, and one lesson at a time.
This summer, Jaja came to the center four days a week, determined to reach her goal of completing the Reading Program before school started.
And she did.
Today, as an incoming Grade 8 student, Jaja proudly completes the Kumon Reading Program. ๐๐
Her completion is more than a reading achievement.
It is proof that confidence can be built.
That difficult things can become easier.
That children can grow stronger than they think they are.
And that with the right support, encouragement, and perseverance, great things are possible.
Behind Jaja's success was a family that continued to support her every step of the way.
To her mom, thank you for believing in Jaja and encouraging her to keep going even when the journey became difficult.
To her dad, thank you for the countless trips to and from the center, for patiently waiting and picking her up after class, and for being a steady source of support throughout her Kumon journey.
And to Jajaโ we are so proud of you.
The little girl who once struggled with reading is now a Kumon Reading Completer.
What once seemed difficult became possible because you chose to keep going, even on the days when you felt discouraged, tired, or unmotivated.
What an incredible journey. โจ
Congratulations, Ja! ๐๐๐

๐ต๐ญ Maligayang Araw ng Kalayaan! ๐ต๐ญ
Today, we honor the courage of those who fought for our freedom.
And as we celebrate our nation's independence, we are reminded of another kind of freedomโone that begins in childhood.
The freedom to learn.
The freedom to think.
The freedom to believe in oneself.
May we continue guiding our children toward becoming confident, independent, and responsible individuals who will help shape the future of our nation. ๐
Happy Independence Day from all of us at Kumon San Vicente Apalit Center.

๐ Meet Aaron โ Our New Kumon Math Completer! ๐
Aaron's Kumon journey began in 2017, when he enrolled in the Reading Program as a Grade 3 student. In 2019, while still in Grade 4, he started the Math Program as well.
Today, as an incoming Grade 12 student, Aaron completes the Kumon Math Program and becomes one of our center's Double Completers โ a milestone that fills our hearts with immense pride and gratitude. ๐๐
What makes this achievement especially meaningful is where Aaron started.
Reading was a struggle.
Math was a struggle.
Learning did not always come easily.
But year after year, worksheet after worksheet, we witnessed something incredible happen.
Aaron grew.
His skills improved.
His confidence blossomed.
And the student who once struggled became a young man capable of completing both the Kumon Reading and Math Programs.
This is why we believe so deeply in the Kumon Method.
Not because it creates perfect students.
But because it helps children discover what they are capable of becoming when they learn to persevere, work independently, and never give up on themselves.
Behind every successful Kumon student is a family that chooses to keep showing up, even when the journey is long.
To Aaron's parents, thank you for every worksheet checked, every reminder given, every encouragement offered, every ride to the center, and every sacrifice made through the years. Thank you for believing in Aaron and partnering with us in developing not only his academic abilities, but also his confidence, discipline, and life skills.
Your support helped make this achievement possible.
Today, Aaron dreams of becoming an engineer.
And as we celebrate this milestone, we are reminded that completion is not simply about finishing worksheets or reaching the end of a program.
It is about developing the mindset, discipline, and confidence to pursue bigger dreams.
For most people, this completion is a certificate.
For us, it is a journey.
We remember the young boy who first walked through our doors.
We remember the struggles, the challenges, the small victories, and the progress that happened one step at a time.
And now, we see a young man ready to pursue his dreams.
Aaron, we are incredibly proud of you.
Watching your transformation through the years has been one of our greatest joys as educators. From a student who once found Reading and Math difficult to a Double Completer with dreams of becoming an engineer, your journey is an inspiration to many.
We were there from the beginning.
And what a privilege it has been to watch you become the person you are today.
Congratulations, Aaron! ๐โจ
Your Kumon journey may be complete, but your journey toward your dreams is only beginning.

๐ Meet Carmen.
When Carmen started Kumon on April 30, blending sounds together to read was still difficult.
Today, she is already reading CVC words independentlyโand she's not even in Kindergarten yet. ๐
Her progress is the result of consistent practice, the right guidance, and a wonderful partnership with her mom.
As Carmen prepares to enter Kindergarten next month, she is building something every child needs:
โจ Confidence
โจ Strong reading skills
โจ A solid foundation for learning
If your child is entering Preschool or Kindergarten, now is a wonderful time to start.
