Their analytical thinking, creativity, and commitment to truth translated into commendable performances across various press events.

These achievements highlight how STEM excellence extends beyond laboratories and classrooms—into storytelling, critical thinking, and responsible journalism. On December 22, 205, the spirit of Christmas was shared with the community of Sitio Kwayanan, Brgy. Napultan, Sibalom, Antique through STEMs of Hope: A Christmas Outreach Program. This meaningful event was filled with joy, generosity, and a strong sense of unity, reminding everyone of the true essence of the season—hope, compassion, and service to others. 🤍🎁

The program aimed to extend support and encouragement to the community, especially during the Christmas season, by bringing smiles, inspiration, and a message of care and solidarity. Through this outreach, we were able to strengthen bonds, uplift hearts, and celebrate the importance of giving back to those in need. 🌟

We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to the Sangguniang Kabataan – Cubay Napultan and Hon. Darel S. Suetado, Brgy. Captain, for their unwavering support, leadership, and generosity. Their dedication played a vital role in the success of this event and in making a positive impact on the lives of the people in Sitio Kwayanan.

STEM Innovators Take Flight at the 2025 Physics Olympics

The 2025 Physics Olympics showcased the brilliance and teamwork of 12 STEM-Hawking, Faraday, and Cavendish students as they applied their knowledge of motion, energy, and mechanics through exciting hands-on events. The Chain Reaction competition highlighted their creativity and precision, as each group designed intricate setups that demonstrated energy transfer and teamwork in action.

The excitement continued with the Rocket Launching activity, where STEM students engineered and propelled their rockets skyward — a symbol of curiosity and innovation. Adding enthusiasm to the event were the Grade 10 SPSTEM students, who actively participated and supported the activities. The Physics Olympics proved to be a remarkable celebration of scientific excellence, collaboration, and the spirit of discovery.

Building Resilient Minds: DRRR Symposium Empowers STEM Students

On October 11, 2025, the Grade 12 STEM students gathered at the ANS Win Gym for the Disaster Risk Reduction and Readiness (DRRR) Symposium, an event prepared by sySTEMs in collaboration with the ANS Girl Scouts of the Philippines.

With keynote insights from Broderick G. Train, PGDH, PDRRMO, and lectures from experts Frederick Lloyd N. Arnaez, Jodhel R. Pacure, Melquiades H. Legaspi, and Clemente B. Occena, the symposium emphasized the importance of preparedness, innovation, and proactive response during disasters.

The Bureau of Fire Protection, represented by F02 Jessie Rey L. Zamora, F01 Roselyn E. Millondaga, and F01 Ador T. Agapay, also shared valuable knowledge on fire safety and emergency management to promote community resilience.

The event reminded everyone that STEM is more than science and technology—it is about applying knowledge to protect lives, empower communities, and build a safer, more resilient future.
