PhilinCon 30th Anniversary Celebration | April 22, 2026 🌿✨

Mag Aba National High School, through its students and staff, actively participated in PhilinCon’s 30th Anniversary Celebration, marking three decades of dedicated service to environmental conservation. The event gathered various stakeholders in a shared commitment to promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices.

🌍🐾 𝓦𝓸𝓻𝓵𝓭 𝓦𝓲𝓵𝓭𝓵𝓲𝓯𝓮 𝓓𝓪𝔂 2026 | 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐨 𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 🐾🌿

Ngayong ika-3 ng Marso 2026, ipinagdiriwang natin ang 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲—isang pandaigdigang inisyatiba ng United Nations na nagbibigay-diin sa kahalagahan ng wildlife conservation at biodiversity protection. Ang araw na ito ay paalala na ang bawat organismo—flora man o fauna—ay may kritikal na papel sa ecosystem stability, climate regulation, at pagpapanatili ng balanse sa food web. 🌏

Sa ating lokal na antas, mas pinaigting natin ang kampanya para sa pangangalaga ng flora at fauna ng Northwest Panay Peninsula Natural Park—isang mahalagang biodiversity hotspot sa Panay Island. Bilang tahanan ng mga endemic at threatened species, ang parke ay may mahalagang ambag sa watershed protection, carbon sequestration, at habitat conservation. Sa pamamagitan ng biodiversity monitoring, information and education campaigns, at pakikipagtulungan sa mga komunidad at katuwang na institusyon, patuloy nating pinangangalagaan ang likas-yaman ng NPPNP. 🌳🦅

Ngayong World Wildlife Day 2026, makiisa tayo sa kampanya: Protektahan ang Kalikasan, Ipaglaban ang Biodiversity! 💚 Ang konserbasyon ay hindi lamang responsibilidad ng iilan—ito ay kolektibong tungkulin para sa kasalukuyan at sa susunod pang henerasyon.

Love is in the air… and in the trees! 🖤🌿

Every February 13, we celebrate 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐲—a tribute to one of the most loyal couples in the wild, just in time before Valentine’s Day! 💕

Did you know? Hornbills are famous for their incredible love story. When it’s time to nest, the female seals herself inside a tree cavity using mud and fruit pulp, leaving only a small slit. The male stays devoted outside, bringing her food every single day until the eggs hatch. Now that’s commitment goals! 🥹✨

Here in the Philippines, the stunning 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐲 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐚 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤 is home to one of the most special feathered sweethearts—the 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹 (𝘗𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘴 𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘪) or "𝗧𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗸". 🐦

🌳 The Visayan Hornbill is one of the smallest hornbill species in the Philippines.
🌿 It is endemic to the islands of Panay and Negros.
❤️ Sadly, it is classified as Endangered due to habitat loss and hunting.

These birds don’t just symbolize love—they remind us of the importance of protecting our forests and wildlife. This Love Hornbill Day, let’s celebrate not only romance, but also conservation and commitment to nature.

Because true love isn’t just between people… sometimes, it has wings. 🖤🐦✨

Coastal Clean-Up Drive | Nov. 23, 2025 🌊🍃

Our students, YES-O officers and faculty advisers came together for a meaningful coastal clean-up to help restore and protect our shoreline. Through teamwork and shared commitment, they collected waste and contributed to a cleaner, safer coast for everyone.
With gloves, plogging kits, and bags in hand, our youth leaders showed what genuine environmental stewardship looks like.
