‎St. Vincent’s High School of San Remegio, Inc. proudly took part in the Hambaru Festival 2026, showcasing talent, culture, and school spirit.

‎During the Cultural Contest, the students performed the Regatones Folk Dance, a lively and vibrant traditional dance inspired by fishing communities. The term “regatones” is believed to be derived from local coastal traditions, often associated with the rhythmic movements of fishermen rowing their boats and celebrating a bountiful catch. The dance reflects the strong connection between people and the sea, highlighting cooperation, resilience, and joy through synchronized steps, energetic music, and colorful costumes rooted in coastal culture.

‎The performance captured both the cultural essence and artistic excellence of the students, earning them 1st Runner-up in the competition.

Next-Gen Journalism: Empowering Local Voices from the Grassroots | March 18, 2026

In an era where truth is often contested, within the serene municipality of San Remigio emerges a community of young truth-bearers and seekers of justice, our passionate journalism enthusiasts. The Prism of the University of Antique, under the guidance of their adviser, Ma’am Shella D. Delgado, conducted a meaningful engagement at St. Vincent’s High School of San Remegio, Inc., in collaboration with participating schools across the municipality.

We extend our deepest gratitude for this collaborative endeavor, where students were given the platform to unveil their innate gifts, cultivate their craft, and sharpen their skills through the meaningful insights shared by the speakers and the active members of The Prism. May this not mark an end, but rather the beginning of a more meaningful and purposeful journey in journalism, anchored in integrity, strengthened by credibility, and steadfast in the pursuit of truth.

A powerful kickstart in robotics and innovation!

Our students, Keizuke Itachi Diamond Villero and Judhel Inocencio, together with their teacher-coach Mr. Hamegar G. Romillo, proudly secured 3rd Place at the Arduino Education Day Philippines 2026 themed “Empowering Innovation Skills: AI and Beyond”, held at the ICC Convention Center, Cebu City on March 13–14, 2026.

This achievement proves that with the right support and determination, our young innovators can reach greater heights. This is only the first spark, our robotics journey is just beginning. 🚀

𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 | October 23, 2025

In line with the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill, St. Vincent's High School of San Remegio, Inc. joined forces
with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) in coordination with the Local Government Unit of San Remigio.

Students, teachers, and staff actively participated in the earthquake simulation, demonstrating the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure. The drill aimed to strengthen disaster preparedness, raise awareness, and develop presence of mind during emergencies.

Participants were also reminded to identify safe zones and evacuation areas within the school premises, an essential step in ensuring safety and minimizing risk during an actual earthquake.

Through continuous drills and awareness activities, the school remains committed in promoting a culture of readiness and resilience among its community members.
