Daniel J. Treier, longtime professor of theology at Wheaton College, passed away shortly before Christmas. A gifted teacher, theologian, and academic leader, he devoted his career to the disciplined integration of Scripture, doctrine, and the life of the church. Through his scholarship on theological method, ecclesiology, and evangelical identity, and through his patient mentorship of students and colleagues, he helped shape a generation of evangelical thinkers marked by seriousness, humility, and ecclesial commitment. His work continues to serve the church by modeling theology as a faithful practice ordered toward truth, wisdom, and Christian witness.
Center for Biblical Studies Institute and Seminary
The CBSIS mission is to prepare students for the spread of the gospel and the building up of local churches in the Philippines and throughout the world.
The Center for Biblical Studies includes both an undergraduate program (the institute) and a graduate program (the seminary). CBS is dedicated to the study of the Holy Scriptures. The school holds to the historic Christian belief that all sixty-six books of the Bible are inspired of God, inerrant in their autographs, and faithfully preserved to serve as the believer's supreme authority in doctrine
