URS ANTIPOLO - COLLEGE OF EDUCATION FACULTY MEMBERS LANDED 2ND PLACE IN THE RECENTLY-CONCLUDED UNIVERSITY RDE CONGRESS!

The URS Antipolo - College of Education would like to congratulate, Prof. Irene O. Feliciano and Prof. Ma. Salve E. Oandasan for their 2nd Place accomplishment under the Extension Category for Poster and Paper Presentation in the recently-concluded 20th University Research, Development, and Extension (RDE) Congress 2026 organized by the URS Office of Research and Development and Extension via Zoom Video Conference. Their research extension project, "Project Reading: Ang Batang Marunong Bumasa ay Pag-asa ng Pamilya" was recognized as the Second Best in the Extension Category. The said research was under the "Sulong Antipolo 4Ps: Para sa Pagpapatuloy ng mga Proyektong Pampamayanan".

Bilang pagsunod sa Memorandum Circular No. 129 ang ating kampus ay magpapatupad ng Alternative Learning Modes at Alternative Work Arrangements bukas, Agosto 19, 2026 (Wednesday). Dahil dito, suspended ang face-to-face classes, at pinapayuhan ang mga students na tingnan ang kanilang mga opisyal na groupchats, online platform para sa mga gawain at learning continuity measures mula sa kanilang mga instructors/professors. Ang mga faculty member at non-teaching staff naman ay work-from-home setup at dapat direktang makipag-ugnayan sa kani-kanilang Dean at Unit Head para sa kanilang mga gawain o tungkulin. Ngunit ilan sa mga utility personnel at nakaduty na security personnel ay kailangan pumasok upang masiguro ang kalinisan at kaligtasan ng campus. ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 19

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 129, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 19, 2026:

๐Ÿ“ Pangasinan
๐Ÿ“ Bataan
๐Ÿ“ Bulacan
๐Ÿ“ Nueva Ecija
๐Ÿ“ Pampanga
๐Ÿ“ Tarlac
๐Ÿ“ Zambales
๐Ÿ“ Batangas
๐Ÿ“ Cavite
๐Ÿ“ Laguna
๐Ÿ“ Rizal
๐Ÿ“ Occidental Mindoro
๐Ÿ“ Oriental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Work Schedule Adjustment and Observance of Ninoy Aquino Day (August 17โ€“21, 2026)

Please be guided by Office Memorandum No. 115, s. 2026 regarding work schedule adjustments for this week:

August 17โ€“20, 2026 (Monday to Thursday):
Temporary observance of regular work schedule (8:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM) for all non-teaching personnel and faculty on VSL status.

August 21, 2026 (Friday):
SUSPENSION OF UNIVERSITY OPERATIONS in observance of Ninoy Aquino Day (Special Non-Working Day). No classes will be held for students and faculty on Teacher Leave Status.

Normal work schedules will resume the following workweek. Please plan your transactions and campus appointments accordingly.
