Celebrate Global Handwashing Day and World Toilet Day with us as we shine the spotlight on the power of Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) in keeping learners healthy, nourished, and ready to succeed.
This special webinar, streamed live via the official DepEd Antipolo page, will show how clean hands and proper sanitation protect learners from disease, prevent malnutrition, and support overall well-being. We’ll also highlight real school initiatives and recognize outstanding WASH and Nutrition advocates through the IEC Material Contest.

Celebrating National Children’s Month: Promoting Healthy Smiles for Every Child! 😁🪥
This National Children’s Month, we celebrate the joy, laughter, and bright smiles of every child! 🌈💖 As we honor their growth and potential, let’s also remember the importance of oral health in nurturing their overall well-being.
In celebration of National Children’s Month, SDO-Antipolo City SGOD School Health and Nutrition Section through our Division Dentists in collaboration with San Luis Elementary School headed by their school head Mam Luningning C. Tapales, clinic coordinator, kinder teachers and learners joined the nation in promoting children’s health and happiness through the theme of “Promoting Healthy Smiles for a Brighter Future.” 🌈
To encourage good oral hygiene and build lifelong habits, the school conducted several fun and educational activities, including:
🦷 Fluoride Application – to strengthen and protect young teeth from cavities.
🎁 Distribution of Oral Care Kits – providing students with the essentials for daily dental care made possible through the generous support of our partner, Save the Children Philippines
🪥 Tooth Brushing Drill – teaching proper brushing techniques and the importance of keeping smiles bright and healthy.
👩🏫Oral Health Education- promoting oral health awareness headed by SDO-Antipolo Division Dentists
Through these activities, students learned that a healthy smile is not only a sign of good health but also a reflection of confidence and happiness. Let’s continue working together to keep every child’s smile shining bright! 💫
Together, we can make every child’s smile a reason to celebrate today and every day. 💫
