Invisible Scars: A Lifetime Regret

Invisible wound yet full of painโ€”a scar that was caused by a filthy yesterday. An ordinary family made a sinister turn when their father left, abandoning them in a storm of debt. Due to financial problems, the mother find ways to provide for the needs of the family. While thinking what to do, the mother was persuaded by her friend to come back to her old job that is connected to child exploitation. She turned her youngest daughter into a puppet by letting it show its skin online for an exchange of money. How long will this exploitation last? Money never stays, but the memories of a dark past will forever remain, which can cause a lifetime regret.

This is our group's reflection about the video of a child named Ella, she is being exposed too much online by her parents. Her video made us shiver as we sensed the danger and threats that Ella faced with only a simple photo and some information.

The video imparted lessons into viewers, including us. We would like to share it through reflecting.
