ONLINE CLASSES TOMORROW

Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,

Please be informed that all classes will be conducted ONLINE tomorrow, August 19, 2026, due to the heavy rainfall and the effects of Typhoon Neneng, in accordance with the Memorandum issued by the Antipolo City Government.

💻 ONLINE CLASSES:
Students are advised to follow their regular class schedule and coordinate with their respective teachers regarding online class links, instructions, and learning activities.

🏢 SCHOOL OFFICE HOURS:
The school offices will remain OPEN from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN ONLY for essential transactions.

In consideration of the monsoon rains and flooding affecting many areas, SMHS will be implementing asynchronous classes while all offices shall be closed tomorrow, August 18, 2026 to ensure the safety and well-being of our learners, teachers, and staff.

During this period, learners are expected to access and accomplish their lessons, learning materials, and activities through the class’GC.

We understand that some families are experiencing difficulties in internet connectivity, flooding, or other circumstances brought about by the weather.

We encourage everyone to prioritize safety and let us all PRAY for a better weather in the days to come.

Due to unfavorable weather conditions, the following schedule adjustments will be implemented:

August 17, 2026 (Monday)

* All afternoon classes will shift to online learning.
* Scheduled afternoon examinations will not push through and will be rescheduled for tomorrow morning.
* Examination schedules will be disseminated by advisers through their respective GCs.

Happiest Birthday, Dr. Reynaldo D. Faustino! 🎂

Today, the Sumulong Memorial High School Community celebrates the 76 wonderful years of a man who has given so much of his life to education and to the people around him.

For many years, we have known you not only as our Director, but as a leader, an educator, and, in many ways, a source of wisdom for the people you work with. You have a way of sharing what you know, not always through long speeches or grand words, but through simple conversations, stories, and the kind of advice that makes you stop and think.

After so many years in the academe, you have seen a lot. A lot of changes in education, generations of students and teachers, challenges in schools, and all the things that come with leading an institution. And through it all, you continue to serve with the same sense of purpose.

Your leadership has reached far beyond our own school community. You have also shared your experience and wisdom with the wider educational community. It is something we are truly proud of, not just because of the positions you hold, but because of the years of service and experience behind them.

What we especially admire, however, is the man behind the titles.

You are a man of faith. A man who values God, family, education, and doing what is right. Your wisdom comes not only from the many years you have spent in the academe, but from a lifetime of experiences, lessons, and encounters with people.

And perhaps that is one of the beautiful things about turning 76. You have gathered 76 years' worth of stories, lessons, laughter, challenges, and blessings. And you continue to share them with the people around you.

Sir, we may not always say it, but we are grateful for the opportunity to learn from you and to be part of the school community that you continue to lead.

On this special day, our wish is simple: May God continue to bless you with good health, peace, joy, and many more years to enjoy the fruits of all the years you have spent serving others. May He continue to give you strength and wisdom, and may you always be surrounded by people who love, respect, and appreciate you.
