The Our Lady of Fatima University - College of Pharmacy, in collaboration with the University of Santo Tomas, is pleased to share the publication of a research article in In Silico Research in Biomedicine under Elsevier.

The study, “Systems pharmacology and molecular docking elucidate multi-target anti-osteoarthritic mechanisms of LC–MS-identified constituents from ethanolic Tinospora crispa stem extract,” explores the potential anti-osteoarthritic properties of Tinospora crispa using systems pharmacology and molecular docking approaches.

The article was authored by Khent Primo Alcantara, Elisha DM. Gloria, Varon D. Mateo, Anbel M. Bautista, John P. Paulin, Jibrielle L. Simpauco, and Agnes Llamasares-Castillo, and was published on May 27, 2026.

This publication reflects the continued commitment of faculty researchers to advancing pharmaceutical and biomedical knowledge through collaborative, evidence-based research.

The College of Pharmacy successfully conducted its Pharmacy Quiz Bee last May 08, 2026, at the San Pedro Calungsod Building – Audio Visual Room, bringing together ten teams composed of students from different year levels in a showcase of academic excellence, teamwork, and camaraderie.

The competition featured three rounds — Easy, Average, and Difficult — consisting of multiple-choice, identification, and problem-solving questions covering various areas of pharmacy education. Throughout the event, participants demonstrated critical thinking, teamwork, and professionalism as they competed for the championship title.

Beyond testing knowledge and analytical skills, the activity also served as an avenue for students to strengthen collaboration and build meaningful connections with their fellow Pharmacy students across year levels.

The College of Pharmacy extends its congratulations to all participating teams, winners, faculty members, organizers, and everyone who contributed to the success of this meaningful and engaging academic event.

Event Highlights: 4th Pharmacy Alumni Forum

The College of Pharmacy of Our Lady of Fatima University – Antipolo City Campus successfully hosted the 4th Pharmacy Alumni Forum last May 7, 2026, at the OLFU AVR, San Pedro Calungsod Building.

With the theme “Blooming Paths: OLFU Alumni Across Fields of Pharmacy Practice,” the event brought together inspiring alumni from various sectors of pharmacy who generously shared their journeys, insights, and real-world experiences.
