Fun fact:
Gabby is the third sibling of the V family to become part of the Hefty Minds fam, while Basti is the first among the three P siblings to begin his journey with us. Watching families grow with Hefty Minds through the years truly makes our hearts full. ❤️💛

This edventure was the first thing that came to mind when I was planning Summer Playschool activities this year.

The lotus flower and the mud correlate with the journey of both the child and the mother in so many ways, and I felt that it was something worth sharing.

Motherhood is often beautiful, but it is also messy, challenging, and full of moments that shape both the mother and the child. Just like the lotus that blooms through the mud, growth happens even in the hardest and quietest seasons.

That is what I wanted this activity to remind us of. Behind every blooming child is a mother who keeps showing up, loving, guiding, and holding on through it all.

Once again, I would like to thank Sip & Gogh for granting my request. The lotus flower was not part of their usual selection, but because I requested it, they had it specially painted for Hefty Minds.

Thank you to all the Summer Playschool moms who joined us and made this mother-and-child activity extra meaningful. I hope this Hefty Minds Edventure became a beautiful reminder of your strength, your love, and the quiet ways you help your children bloom every single day. 🌸

Hefty Minds goes to Shakey’s for the third time. 🍕

Did you know that our first pizza-making activity at Shakey’s was way back in 2019? It’s still the same kind of fun we always look forward to. ❤️
