𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗞𝗔𝗗𝗔 𝗞𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗔 𝗗𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗔 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦: 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵: 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵–𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴 𝗔𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹.

February 9, 2026, marked the successful launch of the Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) Series with the conduct of its first seminar consisting of two episodes for Academic Year 2025–2026. The seminar, titled “Breaking the Chains on Overcoming the Connectios of Peer Pressure to Addiction” and “Prioritizing Mental Health-Based Approach Awareness Awareness in Drug Abuse Preventiona and Control,” was met with positive engagement and enthusiasm.

With the guidance and support of our BKD advisers, Sir Allan Mark Sotto and Sir Jemar Lynus Gatlabayan, together with our BKD President, Jeremie Biazon, the team worked diligently to ensure the success of the event.

We sincerely extend our gratitude to the dedicated student volunteers from various school organizations, including AKAP, BKD/SADACO, and Tinghoy, whose active participation greatly contributed to the program. Participants from SADACO and representatives from each class also showed strong involvement during the discussions.

The highlight of the seminar was the enlightening talk delivered by our two esteemed resource speakers, Mr. Dominador Coronado and Chief Noel Bargola, who shared valuable insights on overcoming peer pressure and emphasized the importance of mental health in drug abuse prevention.

We look forward to the upcoming episodes of the Barkada Kontra Droga Series as we continue to advocate for a safer, healthier, and drug-free youth community.

📢 BADAC MEETING: PAGKAKAISA PARA SA LIGTAS NA BARANGAY
Ginanap ngayong araw ang mahalagang pagpupulong ng ating Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) sa ilalim ng pamumuno ng ating Punong Barangay, Kap. Bebot Tenorio, kasama ang buong Sangguniang Barangay.
Ang nasabing aktibidad ay pinangunahan ng ating BADAC Focal Person na si Lupon Noel Bargola, kung saan tinalakay ang mga estratehiya upang mapanatiling drug-free at payapa ang ating komunidad.
Naging highlight ng pagtitipon ang pakikipagtulungan ng ating mga Sitio Chairmen at ng iba’t ibang sektor ng ating barangay.
Ayon kay Kap. Bebot, ang papel ng mga Sitio Chairman ay napakahalaga dahil sila ang nagsisilbing mata at tenga ng ating pamahalaan sa bawat sulok ng ating lugar.
Layunin ng ating pagpupulong:
✅ Pagpapatibay ng monitoring sa bawat sitio laban sa ilegal na droga.
✅ Pagkakaisa ng mga sektor (Kabataan, Simbahan, at NGOs) para sa mga programang pang-iwas.
✅ Pagtiyak na ang ating barangay ay nananatiling ligtas na tahanan para sa lahat.
Nagpapasalamat ang Sangguniang Barangay sa lahat ng dumalo at nakiisa.
Sa pagtutulungan nina Kap. Bebot Tenorio, Sir Noel Bargola, at ng ating mga lider sa bawat sitio, tuloy-tuloy ang ating pag-unlad at katahimikan!
