Survey on Proposed Academic Changes for SY 2026–2027

Dear Parents and Guardians,

At The Pleasant Mount School, we believe that involving our stakeholders in the decision-making process is vital to our success. We are currently evaluating two significant updates for the upcoming 2026–2027 Academic Year and would appreciate your feedback.

1. Cost-Mitigation: Weekly Online Learning Day

Current global geopolitical tensions have led to a sharp rise in oil prices, affecting transportation and the cost of daily necessities. To help ease the financial strain on our families, we are considering implementing one (1) day of online learning (synchronous or asynchronous) per week. (4 days in-person classes and 1 day online class per week)

This measure aims to reduce commuting expenses while ensuring we continue to deliver high-quality instruction and meet all learning objectives without interruption.

2. Shift to a Trimester System

In alignment with Department of Education (DepEd) initiatives, we are reviewing a transition from a four-quarter system to a three-term (trimester) academic calendar.

Proposed Schedule: June–Sept, Sept–Dec, and Jan–March.

Goal: To provide 201–220 days of more focused, uninterrupted instruction to enhance learning efficiency.

Dear Parents,

We would like to remind you that the physical report cards for this school year will be released this coming Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Important Details:

Format: Please note that these are printed versions only; final grades will not be available via the Parent Mobile App.

Collection: You may claim your child’s report card directly from their Class Adviser.

Clearance: Report cards will be released to learners who have settled all financial and documentary obligations.

Office Schedule Notice:
Please be advised that the Administrative Office will be closed on March 30 and 31 for our annual employees' outing. Regular operations will resume on April 6, 2026.
