Join our PPIS homeschoolers as they share about their award-winning food innovation at the YouthMADE Festival in a Ciena Solutions Challenge Discussion Panel on May 6: 13:00 UTC | 9:00 PM (Philippines) | 4:00 PM (Saudi).

These students developed "Kinako Crunch," an innovative food aid solution for disaster-prone communities. Their project earned a $3,000 Sustainability Award from the Ciena Solutions Challenge, demonstrating the profound impact of innovation education on student achievement and community contribution. This grant will help sustain and scale their work through the Prince of Peace Integrated School.

By integrating innovation into the curriculum, schools can empower students to think creatively, solve real problems, and make meaningful contributions to their communities. Let's champion innovation education to prepare learners for a dynamic future.

🎉 PPIS Students Make an Impact on the Global Stage! 🎉

We are thrilled to announce that Prince of Peace Integrated School (PPIS) from the Philippines has been awarded $3,000 as part of the 2025 Ciena Solutions Challenge. This award recognizes the exceptional work our students did on Kinako Crunch, a reimagined emergency food aid project. 🌍

This year’s Ciena Solutions Challenge saw an incredible 62 teams from 24 countries participating, showcasing innovative solutions that tackle real-world challenges. Out of these, 20 teams were awarded the $3,000 Sustainability Award, and 42 teams received $750 to sustain and scale their projects.

We are proud to be part of this global community and look forward to continuing our efforts to make a difference!
