Good day, Nazareans! As we celebrate Valentines day, we would like to give honor to the one who taught us how to love, its no other than God himself!

1 John 4:9
"We love because he first loved us"

When we talk about love and Valentines, the first thing that comes to the mind of many people is chocolates, gifts, dates, and romantic couple stuff.

And yes, there is nothing wrong with thinking about those things, especially when we’re celebrating love. But today, we must not forget the original giver of love, God. Because before we ever loved anyone, He already loved us first.

God’s love is not temporary. It is not based on mood, appearance, status, or what we can offer. His love is faithful, unconditional, and never-ending. Even when we fail, even when we feel unworthy, even when we feel alone, His love remains.

That’s why for today’s event, besides thinking about what you will give to your loved ones, your special someone, and other people, let us also take time to acknowledge God and give thanks for His love and take the chance to reflect his love to other people through kindness, respect for others, compassion, patience, and forgiveness.

So today, as we celebrate, let’s remember: the best kind of love isn’t the one that only feels good, it’s the love that reflects God.

Because when we truly know God, we will truly know love.
For God is love. 💗

Happy Valentines Day, Nazareans!

Good Day Nazareans! Are you ready to here our Bible verse for this Monday?

Our verse comes from John 15:2

Have you ever wondered why even though we obey God's commandments, we still face hardships, challenges, and setbacks? Maybe at one point you even questioned if God still loves you.

In John 15, God compares our relationship with Him to the connection between a vine and its branches. God is the vine, and we are the branches. For us to bear good fruit that comes from God, we must remain connected to God, just as plants that are deeply rooted draw strength and nourishment to grow and produce fruit.

And just like how sometimes, plants needs to be pruned in order to grow better and stronger, we too face setbacks, challenges, and testing in order to grow deeper in God's love and be better rooted in him. It is not a punishment or something that God does because he hates us, but rather, it is because he loves us to the point that he wants us to learn to rely on him more and more and to grow deeper in our connection with him.

So the next time you face hardships and challenges despite being obidient, remember that it is punishment, but rather a calling for growth and a calling to be rooted deeper in God's love and our faith in him.
