It is with great honor that I introduce our guest speaker, EnP. Mae Elizabeth Loresto Pugarin – a forward-thinking leader, a respected professional in her field, a valued co-choir member who shares my passion for music, and most importantly, a friend whose inspiring journey I have been blessed to witness.
She was born and raised in Poblacion, Anini-y, Antique. She is the eldest daughter of Emmanuel Saim Loresto and Gemma Forcado Loresto, who taught her the importance of hard work and excellence from childhood. These values were evident early in her academic life: she was part of the Elementary Batch of 2002 at Anini-y Central School, where she graduated as salutatorian, and earned 1st Honorable Mention upon graduating from Dao Catholic High School. She went on to study at the University of the Philippines Visayas, where she became a double graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and a Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning – a distinctive combination that would shape her unique approach to serving the community.
