Sending lots of Valentine’s love to all the wonderful people we have dived with over the years ❤️ Diving brings people together from all over the world, to share their passion for the ocean and it’s even better when you can have a laugh with them! Thanks for all these great moments: we can’t wait to get back in the ocean again!

New year, new skill? Take your time and be patient with yourself. You’re probably not going to ‘get it’ first time and that is fine: you’re a learner so have fun and let go of that perfectionism we can all be a victim of at times.

We have Try Dives, courses and scuba reviews planned for 2021 so comment below if you want more info!

In this video we focus on the signs you'll need as you begin to learn to dive, some simple signs used for safety, and run through some fun fish signs too! Why not sign along at home?

Goggles are for swimming but masks are for diving! Ludo takes you through the basic make-up of scuba diving masks.

They come in different styles, fits and features to help you find something to make each dive comfortable and enjoyable. Slap straps can prevent your hair from getting tangled, and clear masks can help to prevent tunnel vision.

Contrary to what Ariel sang, flippin’ your fins does get you very far under water! Here Ellie explains the difference between the two main types you’ll see: full foot and open heeled, plus we show you a neat trick for getting full foot fins on!

We're back to tell you about the important bit of kit you use to breathe: your regulator!

There's lots of impressive science behind this piece of technology but quite simply, it regulates the pressurised air from your tank into something you can easily breathe.

Ludo Alfie is demonstrating on a nice Beuchat regulator. They can come in different styles and colours but work the same!
