From basic addition to Algebra in just one year. Now that’s a milestone worth celebrating!

When Kristoff joined Kumon Angono Center in June 2025, he was a Grade 3 student. Through consistent study, steady progress, and the willingness to keep challenging himself, he is now working on Level G—Algebra, a material about three years ahead of his actual grade level.

But what shines brightest isn’t simply how far ahead he is.

It’s the focus, independence, and confidence he has built along the way.

Kristoff, your progress reminds us that when children are given the right challenge, the right guidance, and the opportunity to learn at their own pace, their potential can take them further than we imagine.

Another meaningful Saturday at Kumon Progress Day!

From Teacher Ces' sharing on developing independent learners, our guest speaker's heartfelt sharing about their Kumon journey as a parent, the recognition of students who reached their first Kumon milestones, to the one-on-one discussions with our instructors—every part of the day reminded us that every child grows one worksheet, one challenge, and one day at a time.

Thank you to all the parents and students who joined us! Your presence and partnership inspire us to continue helping every child discover their potential.

There was a time when numbers frightened Khailyn.

When she started Kumon in Grade 4, even basic Math was a struggle. Her mom, Angelica, admits that she was hesitant to enroll her because she was afraid Khailyn might not be able to handle it. But then she saw something that changed her mind: Khailyn’s courage and determination to learn.

The change came sooner than they expected. In just a few weeks, Khailyn began showing excitement toward Math. Little by little, she started believing in herself. By Grade 5, that confidence was showing up not only in Kumon, but in her other schoolwork as well. She was taking on activities independently, handling multiple challenges, and becoming more persistent in her studies.

And the child who once feared numbers? She became a Math quiz bee competitor.

After five years in Kumon, Khailyn looks back and says that the biggest lesson she gained was learning not to fear challenges. Instead of worrying about making mistakes, she learned to try. That may be the most meaningful part of her journey.

Kumon helped Khailyn strengthen her Math skills, but more importantly, it helped her discover that she was capable of much more than she once believed.

Congratulations, Khailyn, on completing the Kumon Math Program. And thank you, Mom Angelica, for sharing a journey that so many parents and children can relate to.

There is something special about seeing familiar faces reach another milestone.

Years ago, they sat at the center answering worksheets, learning to persevere through challenging material, and developing the discipline to keep going one step at a time. Today, they are celebrating a different kind of completion—their college graduation.

While each of their journeys has been unique, they share a common story: countless days of effort, commitment, and determination.
