Today we remember the death of a crusader who fought for the people’s freedom. Someone whose life became the genesis of an era of freedom. Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. was a man who exemplified true patriotism, be it in his earlier years or his final moments.

Let this day of remembrance be another encouragement for us all to continue the legacy of courage, love, and sacrifice that he left behind. Let us fight, let us love, and let us give to this humble archipelago that we call home.

On this day, August 19, 2026, the Municipality of Angono Rizal celebrates its 88th Anniversary!

The rich history and close ties to art has made this town a bastion of creativity to anyone who wishes to express their passion in unique and beautiful ways. Truly deserving of the title "Art Capital of the Philippines".

The LikhangUno family is deeply grateful for being part of this municipality's history and it is our honor to celebrate it alongside the creative minds of this town.

As we celebrate this day, may all of us find that creative part inside our hearts and minds, and let it grow into something that will add to the deep culture of Angono.
