The tragic shooting at Ateneo de Zamboanga University has shaken the entire educational community. For us ๐๐ ๐๐๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป๐, this is more than a distant headlineโit is a painful reminder of the responsibility we share as educators, parents, alumni, and advocates for the welfare of our children.
Many of us in the ๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ผ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ด๐ฒ ๐๐น๐๐บ๐ป๐ถ ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ป๐ผ๐ ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ด๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป๐ ๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฒ๐น๐๐ฒ๐. We understand the fear and worry of sending our children to school each day, trusting that they will return home safely. That makes school safety not only a professional or institutional concernโit is deeply personal.
