As part of the continuing community projects of AUF BSCS Batch 2000 in culmination of its 25th Anniversary Celebration, last March 1, 2026, the donation of six (6) Solar Street Lights for our Sitio target community was formally endorsed at the community Learning Center of Sitio Target Sapang Bato, Angeles City.

The donation was warmly received by Councilor Carlos Salvador, marking another meaningful step toward improving safety and accessibility within the community.

We were also accompanied by two BMMA students who produced a documentary series featuring the Aeta community, created in commemoration of the 35th anniversary of the Mt. Pinatubo eruption — a powerful tribute to resilience, culture, and history.

As a meaningful culmination of the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the AUF BSCS Batch 2000, the batch has united not only in reminiscing cherished memories but also in reaffirming its commitment to service. Guided by gratitude and a shared desire to give back, the batch successfully raised funds to support several communities through a series of outreach initiatives (4 community projects).

These community projects are made possible through the generosity and collective efforts of the AUF BSCS Batch 2000.

The 1st project was held on February 24, 2026, with the turnover of donations to Munting Tahanan ng Nazareth at Mabalacat, a home dedicated to caring for the poor, abandoned, surrendered, disabled, and special children. The institution currently provides shelter and care to 39 residents—16 female and 23 male—ensuring their daily needs and well-being are met through the compassion of its administrators and supporters.

The turnover was attended by Dr. Lilibeth Cuison, Dean of the AUF College of Computer Studies (CCS) (also a BSCS 2000 alumna); Dr. Daisy Yap, Assistant Dean of AUF CCS; Ms. Joyce Macaspac, CCS Internship Coordinator (also a BSCS 2000 alumna and President of the 25th BSCS 2000 Batch Reunion); and Ms. Jam Visperas Faculty of AUF CCS.

To support the daily maintenance and operational needs of the facility, the batch donated essential supplies, including:
20 packs of 1kg Powder Detergent
20 bottles of 500ml Lysol Cleaner
20 gallons of Bleach (1 gallon each)
20 bottles of 1L Dishwashing Liquid
5 containers of 15kg Cooking Oil

These items will help sustain the home’s daily operations and contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for its residents.
