Last March 17, marked the official launch of MAGNUSprint through the onboarding meeting and MOA signing with our core multidisciplinary teams and partner MSMEs.

This activity is a multidisciplinary initiative dedicated to advancing health innovation through science, research, and collaboration. Our teams have formally committed to improving and validating health products from local MSMEs, with full support from AUF-MAGNUS Health Innovation Hub.

ANGELES UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION, ANGELES CITY — January 16, 2026 — The University’s Center for Advanced Research and Innovation hosted the AUF MAGNUS RDLead competition, one of the activities of the center’s project (AUF MAGNUS H-Hub), showcasing cutting-edge faculty-student innovation of impactful health technologies in the university.
The RDLead competition received a total of 21 concept papers last November 28, 2025 and were subsequently evaluated and trimmed down to top 10 entries on December 16, 2025. On January 16, 2026, the ten selected innovative health technology research projects clinched to the top by an on-site presentation round.

Out of the ten health technology researches, the 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡-𝐌𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐍𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐧𝐳𝐲𝐦𝐞-𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨-𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐨𝐱𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐛𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝟐-𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫 from the College of Allied Medical Profession (CAMP) was declared as Champion, with the 𝐅𝐞𝐞-𝐕𝐞𝐫 𝟐.𝟎: 𝐀𝐧 𝐀𝐈-𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐳𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 and 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲.𝐩𝐡: 𝐀 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐔𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐝𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 bagging the first and second-runner up awards both from the College of Computer Studies (CCS).

Last, November 28, 2025, participants got hands-on experience with patent search techniques, applying everything they learned from Day 1. The session was packed with practical exercises that helped our innovators and researchers gain the skills they need to identify, protect, and manage their health technology innovations.

Yesterday, November 27, 2025, the AUF-MAGNUS H-Hub welcomed health technology innovators, researchers, and entrepreneurs from various universities and MSMEs across Central Luzon for this two-day capacity-building event.

Participants explored into the fundamentals of Intellectual Property, learning about IP rights and why they matter in health technology innovation. The day was filled with engaging discussions and interactive sessions that helped everyone understand the IP landscape better.
