The University Senate – Second Congress convened its 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗼. 𝟭 on January 17, 2026, formally opening the Second Regular Session of the Senate. The body deliberated on legislative measures, endorsed committee matters, and discussed key initiatives aligned with student welfare, institutional development, and effective student governance.

The session marked the continuation of the Senate’s constitutional mandate to legislate, represent, and uphold accountability within the student government through principled and orderly parliamentary proceedings.
