What makes Living Stone International School YOUR school of choice?
- We are committed to uphold universal peace, love and justice as we build and nurture an academic community that is Christ-centered, holistically developed and concerned with the common good. Our dictum is built in the spirit of JOY: JESUS first, giving Him utmost importance; then OTHERS, being the second most important; and third, YOURSELF.
- We have been featured on major TV stations, such as GMA 7, ABS CBN, UNTV37 and CLTV 36, and on newspapers, such as The Manila Times, Headline Gitnang Luzon and Sun Star Pampanga.
- Our NEXUS Robotics Team represented our country at the World Robot Olympiad 2014 in Sochi, Russia.
- Because of hard work, commitment and dedication to make LSIS a school of choice for young people of any nationality, we are proud to emphasize that LSIS was granted Philippine Government Recognition through the Department of Education shortly after two years of operation.
- We started in June 2007 with only 20 students. This year 2015-2016, we have grown to more than 520 students from Pre-school to High School. Through the years we have worked to improve our program, our teaching staff, our student services, and our facilities; all for the best welfare of our students. In a matter of only three years, the school’s reputation has reached not only the neighboring villages of Angeles City but also the far corners of Mabalacat, Mexico, Magalang, Porac, Tarlac, and Korea.
- We take pride in developing our Faculty Members in order to maximize our students’ potentials. Inherently competent as they are, teachers are trained to provide student-centered teaching methodologies and to enhance their creativity in implementing academic programs through student activities both in co-curricular and extra curricular areas. Just last year, the whole Preschool department were sent to Gyeonggi Pre-school at Suwon, Korea; Sarang Pre-school at Goyang, Korea; and MyeongJi Pre-school at Seoul, Korea for training.
- The academic programs are centered on building competencies using international standards with the ultimate goal of providing ample preparations for the students to be well-equipped for their entry to the university or college of their choice in any part of the world. We implement curricula in consonance with DepEd Order No.31, and as mandated by the Enhanced Basic Education Act 2013, known as the K to 12 Basic Education Program.
- We are the second home to our students where they enjoy their access to remarkable and state-of-the-art facilities and secure environment.
- We appreciate the parents who have continuously discussed with us their ideas concerning their children. We believe parents are our partners in our mission to provide quality education to our students.
- We enhance our students' interests and talents by offering a wide array of clubs and organizations, such as Nexus Robotics, Glee Club, Visual Arts, Eco-Tourism, Photography, Basketball, Taekwondo, Ratatouille Kitchen, Cum Gaudio, Student Council and a lot more!
- Class size is limited to 15 students in Preschool, 25 students in Grade School and Junior High, and 30 students in Senior High.
