In view of the forecast of severe rainfall and the continuing threat of heavy rains over the province including Angeles City, the Local Government, announces the suspension of face-to-face classes in all levels, both public and private schools, in Angeles City on Friday, September 4, 2026.

The decision was made as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of our learners and teachers.

Parents and guardians are advised to keep children safe and continue to monitor official advisories from their respective schools and the City Government of Angeles.

The public is likewise encouraged to remain vigilant, avoid crossing flooded roads and waterways, and follow instructions from authorities.

Let us continue to look after one another and remain alert & prepared.

Suspendido ang face-to-face classes sa lahat ng antas sa lahat ng pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa Angeles City bukas, Martes, Setyembre 1, 2026, dahil sa patuloy na inclement weather.

Ang suspension ng klase ay idineklara sa Angeles City upang unahin ang kaligtasan at kapakanan ng mga mag-aaral, g**o, at school personnel habang patuloy na mino-monitor ang lagay ng panahon.

Maaaring ipatupad ng mga paaralan ang alternative learning modalities upang maipagpatuloy ang pag-aaral, alinsunod sa kanilang learning continuity arrangements.

Ang Memorandum Circular No. 133 ng Malacaรฑang ay nagtatakda rin ng mga nararapat na alternative arrangements sa mga lugar na sakop nito dahil sa inaasahang patuloy na pag-ulan dulot ng Enhanced Southwest Monsoon o Habagat.

GBES Joins the Eco-Champs Movement!

Gueco Balibago Elementary School proudly joins the Eco-Champs Campaign, an environmental initiative spearheaded by Communities Organized for Resource Allocation (CORA), founded by Antoinette Taus and Tom Taus, in partnership with Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc., the City Government of Angeles, DepEd Angeles City, and the Gokongwei Brothers Foundation. As one of the selected Eco-Champ schools in Angeles City, GBES is honored to support this collective effort toward environmental sustainability and responsible waste management.

As one of the selected Eco-Champ schools in Angeles City, we stand united in promoting responsible waste management and environmental stewardship. Through the collective efforts of our school personnel, learners, and parents, we are committed to leading plastic collection drives and encouraging the proper segregation and recycling of recyclable plastics.

Suspendido ang face-to-face classes sa lahat ng pampubliko at pribadong paaralan, lahat ng antas, sa Angeles City bukas, Lunes, Agosto 10, 2026.

Ang suspensyon ay kaugnay ng Executive Order No. 13-2026-LGP ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Pampanga, na nagdedeklara ng suspensyon ng klase sa buong lalawigan dahil sa patuloy na pag-ulan at sa mga weather advisories ng DOST-PAGASA.

Ayon rin sa forecast, inaasahang makakaranas ng malakas hanggang matinding pag-ulan sa buong Pampanga, na may posibilidad ng Red Warning Level at extreme torrential rainfall. Maaari itong magdulot ng pagbaha, lalo na sa mabababang lugar at malapit sa mga ilog, gayundin ng landslide sa mga lugar na mataas ang panganib.

Para sa mga mag-aaral, maaring ipatupad ng mga paaralan ang naaangkop na alternative learning modalities upang maipagpatuloy ang pag-aaral habang suspendido ang face-to-face classes.
