𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | BAELS ACADEMIC ORIENTATION

Welcoming a new chapter for our future educators and communicators!

Last May 14, 2026, the Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies (BAELS) Program successfully held its Freshmen Orientation at Bulwagang Angeleño.

The orientation served as a meaningful introduction to college life, academic expectations, and the exciting opportunities awaiting our freshmen students.

Program Coordinator Sir Ejay Allego discussed the academic opportunities, program guidelines, retention policy, grading system, and proper uniform to help students navigate their academic journey with clarity and confidence. Meanwhile, Vince Santos CommGuild’s 1st year Representative, introduced the co-curricular and extracurricular opportunities available in the program, including the Communicators’ Guild — the official program-based organization of BAELS — and the activities students can look forward to throughout their college life.

May this orientation be the beginning of growth, excellence, leadership, and meaningful experiences for every BAELS freshman. Welcome to the family, future language professionals! 🩵

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | On May 5, 2026, the Communicators' Guild brought English Day to life with the theme "Ars Linguae: Many Voices, One Throne." The event became a vibrant stage for BAELS students to shine, not just in their mastery of language but through captivating cultural performances. More than a celebration, it sparked new bonds as everyone joined forces in the spirit of collaboration.

As we bring this memorable event to a close, let us celebrate the remarkable Communicators who truly stood out. Special thanks to Mr. MJ Orquia for leading an inspiring seminar that sparked creativity and unity among BAELS students.
