Batch 2: Grades 4 to 10
10:30 AM – 12:00 NN

While Pax et Lumen International Academy aims to provide quality learning toward excellence towards its students through the guidance of its teachers, it also emphasizes learning for the very mentors that enlighten minds. Think of a well-oiled machine that has its gears and related components refurbished and kept in shape to keep it going; the same can be said with Pax's beloved faculty who are given not only rest and recreation, but also new adventures and insights to keep themselves up to date with the ever-changing world.

Last May 6-9, 2026, the administrators and teachers of Pax et Lumen took part in an international trip to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. There, they took time to explore the sights, sounds, and flavors the country offers. They took part in visiting the numerous scenic spots and at the same time, immerse themselves in Vietnam's traditional cuisine. They were able to interact and mingle with the locals as a way of fostering openness and respect, which is important in a interconnected world.

The trip to Vietnam is indeed an eye-opener for the administrators and teachers of Pax et Lumen; hopefully, they get to share their observations made and insights learned in helping its students realize that in a world full of differing customs and traditions, there is a common link that binds them together.

Just a piece of trivia related to Vietnam: Did you know that Ms. Laura Q. del Rosario, the president of Pax et Lumen International Academy, served as the Philippine Ambassador to Vietnam from middle of 2007 to late 2009?
