The mandatory wearing of prescribed college uniforms for upperclassmen (2nd to 5th Year students) will officially begin on June 15, 2026.

The entire Holy Angel University (HAU) community mourns the sudden passing of Dr. Gertrude P. Tuazon, Director of the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO).

Dr. Gertie's dedication, compassionate leadership, and genuine care for the University and its people have left an enduring mark on the HAU community. While her passing brings profound sorrow, her legacy of service, excellence, and kindness will continue to inspire.

We celebrate a life well lived and a legacy that will forever remain in our hearts.

Happy 3rd Presbyteral Ordination Anniversary, Fr. Omar!

The University Research Office (URO) conducted the 26th University Research Colloquium on June 4 via Zoom teleconference, gathering faculty researchers, academic practitioners, and members of the Holy Angel University (HAU) community in a celebration of scholarly excellence and research innovation.

The colloquium served as a dynamic platform for the dissemination of completed research studies across various disciplines, highlighting the University’s commitment to advancing knowledge creation and academic inquiry.

The plenary session featured a presentation by Dr. Jean Paolo G. Lacap titled "Research Writing and Artificial Intelligence: Advancing Research Productivity and Efficiency.” The session explored the evolving relationship between artificial intelligence and academic research, offering participants valuable insights on how emerging technologies can enhance research productivity while upholding academic integrity and scholarly rigor.

The event continued with parallel research presentation sessions organized into five thematic tracks: Engineering and Sustainable Technologies; Computing and Education; Nursing, Allied Health, and Behavioral Sciences; Humanities, Literature, and Social Sciences; and Business, Tourism, and Hospitality Studies.

As the University continues to strengthen its research ecosystem, the successful conduct of the 26th University Research Colloquium reaffirms the University’s dedication to fostering a strong research culture that promotes innovation, sustainability, and academic excellence.

Holy Angel University held its Employees’ General Assembly for the First Semester of School Year 2026–2027 on June 5 at the University Theater.

The program began with a celebration of the Holy Eucharist, officiated by University Chaplain Rev. Fr. Omar Niño Defensor.

This was followed by the President’s Hour, where University President Leopoldo Jaime Valdes presented the University’s accomplishments, ongoing initiatives, and institutional goals.

A talk titled “The Identity and Mission of Catholic Universities in Church Legislation” was delivered by resource speaker Msgr. Edgardo Pangan, JCD, who highlighted the role of Catholic higher education institutions in upholding Church teachings and advancing their educational mission.

In the afternoon, employees participated in breakout sessions organized per cluster and department, providing an avenue for collaboration, discussion of operational updates, and alignment of goals for the semester.
