Hello, Red Dot devotees! I know, by now you think all the talk of the imminent publication of a Red Dot sequel was a cruel hoax.
Cheer up!
It's really and truly about to happen! I am almost finished formatting the final draft for Kindle. It all should come together in a week or two.
First, the eBook with be available. I'll let you know when you can get a copy and when it will be free. I need to get a proof copy of the paperback first from Kindle, so that will take a little longer.

I just received an English-language copy of Dr. Alex Tang's book on stock technical analysis. Alex is an old friend, and I helped edit the book. He has written this textbook on technical analysis for his classes at Hong Kong Baptist University and earned a Doctorate in Business Administration since he retired as the head of research at a Hong Kong brokerage. I don't know what he does in his spare time.

Good news! for all you red dot fans! I will finish the first draft of the looooong awaited sequel before the end of the year.There will still be a lot to do, but it's a big step.

I worked with Alex to write an article for Equities.com based on conclusions in his thesis about China stocks. It ran Oct. 21, below.

The editor I worked asked with if I'd be willing to start contributing regularly, and we're working on something every couple of weeks.

Congratulations to Alex Tang, who had his thesis accepted in July and received his degree of Doctor of Business Administration from Hong Kong Baptist University!

I helped Alex edit his thesis, and he wrote in the document's Acknowledgements:

" Special thanks go to ... Mr. Eugene Linn, a long-time friend, for his professional help in editing my thesis,..."

Alex's thesis examined the reasons for the out-performance of Chinese companies listed on the Hong Kong market from 2002 to 2014.
