Last Friday, the Science Division Fair was a huge success at Dr. Clemente N. Dayrit Sr. Elementary School.

Students showcased their deep knowledge and expertly answered all the questions thrown their way.

The event was divided into three rooms, each dedicated to a different aspect of science.
Judges and facilitators were on hand, engaging with the students and asking thought-provoking questions that highlighted their expertise and passion for discovery.

🛑 ASTEROID ATMOSPHERIC ENTRY ALERT ‼️
A freshly discovered small (~1 m diameter) asteroid (CAQTDL2) is in a trajectory that will direct it into the Earth atmosphere, near Luzon island (Philippines), today (Sept. 4th) around 16h 40min UT. No real impact, but a very bright and slow fireball should be observable by people in the area, and meteorites may reach the ground (or the ocean).
