The AUF College of Nursing Staff, headed by the Dean, Dr. Zenaida S. Fernandez, proudly welcomed the new PNA National President Governor Gian Carlo S. Torres, together with Governor Jannice Ann B. Bunsoy, PNA National Vice President for Programs and Development, Governor Victor C. Quimen Jr. of PNA Chapter Affairs, and Governor Pedro M. Magadan of Region III, in a meaningful visit that strengthens our shared commitment to the nursing profession.

In line with this, we extend our full support to the upcoming PNA Summer Conference on May 12, 2026, to be held at SMX Clark, Pampanga. We encourage everyone to participate and actively engage in this significant gathering of Filipino nurses.

We also warmly invite all Filipino nurses—both here and abroad—to become active members of the Philippine Nurses Association (PNA). Let us unite to advance our profession, strengthen our voice, and foster solidarity across the global Filipino nursing community.

ANGELENEAN EXCELLENCE RECOGNIZED BY PRC!

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) officially recognized AUF as one of the top-performing nursing schools in the Philippines, following its exemplary performance in the November 2025 Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination (PNLE).

The award was proudly received by Dr. Zenaida S. Fernandez, Dean; Dr. Debbie Q. Ramirez, Assistant Dean; Ms. Ma. Corazon M. Tanhueco, Level 4 Academic Coordinator; and Ms. Angela P. Apostol, Level 4 RLE Coordinator—honoring the united efforts of the administration, faculty, and students in sustaining excellence in nursing education.

AUF’s exceptional performance in the November 2025 PNLE was further strengthened by the achievement of 11 PNLE Topnotchers—Top 5 Luis Glen A. Avenir; Top 7 Cristine Claire C. Aras and Matthew Andrei E. Basilio; Top 8 Gian Carlo T. Guevarra, Garreth Angelo T. Navarro, Rainne T. Reyes, and Sean Caleb S. Santos; Top 9 Mackayla Elyanna G. Cato and Jana Pauline R. Cruz; and Top 10 Kyla Denise T. Banaag and Genevieve C. Dela Paz—reflecting not only individual excellence but also the effectiveness of AUF’s outcomes-based curriculum, rigorous review culture, and hands-on clinical training.

Even more impressive, this milestone marks AUF’s 18th consecutive 100% passing rate in Nursing board examinations since 2015—a decade-long legacy of consistency, discipline, and academic rigor.

The 𝗚𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗱 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 celebrated student excellence, leadership, and service --- and the College of Nursing emerged as a true force of passion and purpose.

Among the numerous College Student Councils and Non-Mandated Organizations from across AUF, our very own student leaders stood out, making a clean sweep, showcasing exceptional leadership and commitment.

𝗟𝗜𝗬𝗔𝗕, the College of Nursing Student Council, was named the Most Outstanding College Student Council, a distinction that reflects their dynamic leadership and unwavering commitment to serve and empower the nursing community.

𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗡 shone brightly among non-mandated organizations, winning 1st Runner-Up in the Most Outstanding Non-Mandated Organization category. They were also honored with the JuAngelenean Award for impactful community service and the Nexus Award for excellence in transparency and innovation in resource management.

The NURSE EXPLORERS received the Eureka Award in recognition of their forward-thinking academic initiatives that promote lifelong learning and excellence in nursing education.
