One of the most meaningful highlights of Noir of Justice: A Night Beyond the Shadows was the ceremonial Passing of the Light, symbolizing the transfer of leadership, responsibility, and dedication to service.

Outgoing appointed CSC President Jessie Nicole Alba passed the light to Aleja J. Maminta, the newly elected CSC President, signifying the official transition from SIGASIG 2025–2026 to VERAXIS 2026–2027.

As the flame continues to burn, so does the commitment to lead, serve, and inspire. May this light guide the new generation of student leaders as they carry forward the legacy of those who came before them.

OFFICIAL ADVISORY

Angeles University Foundation (AUF) is aware of the reported cybersecurity incident involving Instructure, the provider of the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) currently used by the University.

The University has received official communication from Instructure confirming that AUF is among the institutions affected in the ongoing investigation. At present, there is no confirmation yet regarding the specific AUF data subjects or records affected.

Instructure has notified AUF that the compromised personal data of members of its institution consists of usernames, identification numbers, and email addresses.

As a precautionary measure, the University, through the Management Information Systems and Services (MISS), is implementing account re-authentication and password reset procedures for Canvas, Gmail, and SchoolAutomate accounts.

The University, through the Data Breach Response Team (DBRT), Data Protection Office, MISS, and Legal Counsel, is actively coordinating with Instructure and conducting the necessary assessment and response measures in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and relevant regulations of the National Privacy Commission.

We encourage all students, employees, and stakeholders to remain vigilant against suspicious emails, messages, or phishing attempts and to immediately report unusual account activity to MISS.

Further verified updates will be issued through official University communication channels as additional information becomes available.
