City of Angeles Toastmasters Club

City of Angeles Toastmasters Club City of Angeles Toastmasters Club is a non-profit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills. They listen and answer.

We are open to new members that are willing to learn and help develop others in the skills of public speaking and leadership. We meet every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month, at 6 P.M. Through its worldwide network of clubs, each week Toastmasters helps more than a quarter of a million men and women of every ethnicity, education level and profession build their competence in communication so they ca

n gain the confidence to lead others. Toastmasters continues to build on its legacy by providing a strong foundation for the future. Its proven educational program continually evolves to address the needs of the world’s communicators and leaders both today and tomorrow. Toastmasters members learn to tell their story. They plan and lead. They give feedback – and accept it. Through our community of learners, they find their path to leadership. They do this by practice and learning skills by filling meeting roles, ranging from giving a prepared or an impromptu speech to serving as timer, evaluator or grammarian. There is no instructor; instead, each speech and meeting is critiqued by a member in positive manner, focusing on what was done correctly and what could be improved. Great communicators tend to be great leaders.

Leadership in Action, indeed! 💻🎤

When plans change, leaders adapt and keep moving forward.

Our latest City of Angeles Toastmasters Club meeting may have switched from face-to-face to online, but that didn’t stop us from having a truly 𝙜𝙖𝙡𝙫𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙯𝙞𝙣𝙜 evening of stories, learning, laughter, and meaningful conversations.

A special highlight was Toastmaster Zach Adam Manalo taking an important first step in his Toastmasters journey by delivering his Ice Breaker Speech! 👏

Congratulations, TM Zach! Here’s to finding your voice, sharing your story, and many more speeches ahead.

Tonight reminded us that leadership isn’t defined by where we meet. It’s demonstrated by how we show up, speak up, and take action despite changing circumstances.

Because when every voice is given the space to be heard, excellence follows.

Leadership starts with humility and the willingness to grow.

In her Level 1.4 speech, The Prototype of a Leader, Toastmaster Fritzie Dizon delivered a powerful reminder: none of us are a finished product—we are all leaders in the making. By putting past evaluation feedback into action with deliberate vocal variety and dynamic gestures, she showed us what continuous improvement truly looks like.

Ready to take on the challenge and refine your own leadership journey? Come grow with us at CATMC!
