Angeles City National High School - Special Science Class is a Secondary Public Science High School system located in DoΓ±a Aurora St. Ocampo, then a science teacher in the Pandan campus of Angeles City National High School, was sent by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) to attend a training program in Malaysia. A Special Science Class class was started, with him as coordinator of the

program. The pioneer batch was composed of 120 students, all of which are passers of the imposed DOST requirement. The students were divided into three sections, namely Argon, Boron, and Carbon. Achievements

The Special Science Class was one of the schools to bag the UP-Pautakan Oblation Trophy after winning three years in a row. The Acad Team were winners in the Philips Mind Challenge of 2001 and the Sharp Minds Challenge in 2006. The school produces victors in DepEd sponsored competitions such as press conferences, science and math festivals, the MTAP, and many others. It also stands out in invitational contests hosted by the schools in the city.

The prestigious international competition was held at the Multimedia University (MMU) in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, where the brilliant minds from Angeles City outshone their peers.

Muli, EPS in Science Dr. Gemima Estrabillo, and ACSHS Principal Mrs. Marjorie D. Lacson, commends the team for their "dedication and excellence in scientific research."

This gold medal is a beacon of scientific excellence, bringing immense honor to Angeles City and the Philippines on the international stage!
