Alinsunod sa Republic Act No. 8815, idineklara ang May 7 ng bawat taon bilang special non-working day sa Lalawigan ng Pampanga at Lungsod ng Angeles, na kilala bilang “Jose Abad Santos Day.”

Dahil dito, SUSPENDIDO ang trabaho sa lahat ng tanggapan ng pamahalaan at pribadong sektor sa Lungsod ng Angeles sa May 7, 2026 (Thursday).

Gayunpaman, ang mga tanggapan ng gobyerno na tumutugon sa serbisyong pangkalusugan, emergency response, disaster preparedness, at iba pang mahahalagang serbisyo ay HINDI kasama sa suspensyon at magpapatuloy sa operasyon upang matiyak ang tuloy-tuloy na serbisyo para sa publiko.

As announced by the Angeles City Information Office and/or the Department of Interior and Local Government Philippines, tomorrow, and the day after, Monday, November 10, 2025 & November 11, 2025 all Pampanga classes—private, public, and TESDA—will be suspended.

Following the Memorandum Circular No. 106 and the recommendation of National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Center (NDRRMC), due to the expected harsh weather conditions brought by the Super Typhoon "Uwan".
