HAU School of Education Student Council

𝙋𝙍𝙀𝙎𝙎 𝙍𝙀𝙇𝙀𝘼𝙎𝙀 | Cardona Elected as CSO Commissioner; Henzon, Dalumpines, and De Leon Appointed as Councilors; and Sotto Appointed as SEd Senator

On May 8, 2026, CSC-SEd Governor Kyran Churchille Nucum presided over an election between organization heads—Mr. Alwin Gabriel Liwanag, President of Scienzophiliacs, and Ms. Amiela Bianca Carlos, President of The Kaleidoscope. There had been one nominee from each organization, wherein 𝗠𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗝𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮 won with a majority vote. Cardona was officially endorsed and acknowledged by the HAUSG Commission on Elections (COMELEC) as the 𝙎𝙀𝙙 𝘾𝙎𝙊 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙧 on May 22, 2026.

Furthermore, the three vacant positions in the CSC-SEd were filled through appointment after thorough profiling and assessment of skillsets of eligible student leaders in the School of Education.

𝗠𝗿. 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘇 𝗗𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 was endorsed as the 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙃𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙘𝙚𝙨 in May 26, 2026; Meanwhile, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗣𝗮𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝗘𝗱𝗵𝗲𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗼𝗻 was initially endorsed as the 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙇𝙤𝙜𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙨 in May 23, 2026, but took the position of 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘽𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙍𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 after a switch with 𝗠𝘀. 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗮 𝗗𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗼𝗻, who is in her second term as a councilor in a different committee. Both were officially endorsed on May 31, 2026.

Finally, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗝𝗼𝘆𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼 was formally appointed and endorsed as the 𝙎𝙀𝙙 𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧 during the Oath Taking Ceremony which took place in June 1, 2026.

𝙋𝙍𝙀𝙎𝙎 𝙍𝙀𝙇𝙀𝘼𝙎𝙀 | HAU CSC-SEd Governor Issues Four Priority Subjects for the Academic Year 2026–2027

In accordance with the duties of an executive head, with that of mirroring Article III. Section 2(f) of the Constitution of the Holy Angel University Student Government—Mr. Kyran Churchille S. Nucum, Governor of the College Student Council - School of Education, proposes four (4) priority subjects for the School of Education this A.Y. 2026–2027.

Nucum highlights improved marketing strategies, exposure to scholarship opportunities, program and faculty expansion, basic infrastructure repair, and wellness enhancement, of which he says, "𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘬𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘥𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘨𝘦, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘣𝘶𝘵𝘦 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘥𝘷𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘺." in his submitted document to the HAUSG-Senate this June 10, 2026.

A few subjects proposed model after and draw insights from the last term's priority bills, which were then translated into more retrofitted and contextualized versions of addressing various long-standing student grievances in the School of Education.

The four priority subjects are as follows:

𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗞 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗣 | Freshmen Orientation 2026 🦉💙

The 2nd Batch of the University Student Council (USC)'s 𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃: 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 officially commenced inside the Chapel of the Holy Guardian Angels on June 2, 2026, at 1:00 PM.

This batch included Freshmen from the School of Education (SEd), parading in bright blue outfits and waving blue handheld ribbons as they made their way towards the University Theatre.

After visiting the University-wide organizations booths, the students were led by the CSC-SEd to the Immaculate Heart Gymnasium (IH Gym), wherein SEd Student Groups presented their prepared booths.

The four SEd Student Groups executed the Harry Potter theme by highlighting the four houses of Hogwarts—with 𝘾𝙎𝘾-𝙎𝙀𝙙 representing the house of 𝙂𝙧𝙮𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙤𝙧, 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙛𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 as 𝙍𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙬, 𝙎𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙯𝙤𝙥𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙖𝙘𝙨 as 𝙎𝙡𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣, and 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙆𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙞𝙙𝙤𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙥𝙚 as 𝙃𝙪𝙛𝙛𝙡𝙚𝙥𝙪𝙛𝙛.

The Campus Tour wrapped up at the School of Education Demo Room where the Freshmen were briefed about the council, publication, organizations, and scholarships and grants opportunities with an open Question and Answer portion at the end.
