WALANG EDAD ANG EDUKASYON

Sa pinalawak na Department of Education Alternative Learning System (ALS), mas pinapalakas natin ang flexible at lehitimong learning pathways para sa out-of-school youth at adults.

Inaayon ang ALS sa K to 12 curriculum at kinikilala ang dating kaalaman at karanasan ng learners.

May malinaw na landas mula ALS patungo sa trabaho, technical-vocational training, o pagpapatuloy ng pormal na pag-aaral.

Ang mga repormang ito ay nakaangkla sa malinaw na direksyon ni President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. at sa bisyon ng Bagong Pilipinas: edukasyong inklusibo, may dangal, at may tunay na ikalawang pagkakataon para sa bawat Pilipino, kahit saan ka man nagsimula.

Strengthening Partnerships for Lifelong Learning

Sir Noel Trident Remollo, Master Teacher I of ALS Angeles City, recently met with Sir Ron Jacob Guevarra of the LEaP! Y2 Program of Angeles City to discuss meaningful collaboration and potential partnerships.

The meeting focused on exploring ways the LEaP! Y2 Program and ALS Angeles City can work together to expand learning opportunities, empower out-of-school youth and adult learners, and strengthen community-based education initiatives.

This dialogue marks a positive step toward shared goals in promoting inclusive, accessible, and quality education for all. Looking forward to impactful programs and partnerships ahead.

A Courtesy Visit and Drafting of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was successfully conducted at the City College of Angeles (CCA) as part of strengthening institutional partnerships in support of the Alternative Learning System – Senior High School (ALS SHS) program. The activity provided an avenue to discuss collaborative opportunities focused on education, skills development, learner support, and community engagement.

The ALS SHS team was warmly received by Mr. Beejay A. Sebastian, MPA, Temporary OIC-President of the City College of Angeles, whose leadership and openness greatly contributed to the productive discussion. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Michael Louis C. Celis, Professor at the City College of Angeles, for his valuable inputs and active participation during the meeting.

This engagement marks a meaningful step toward establishing a strong and sustainable partnership between ALS SHS and the City College of Angeles, anchored on a shared commitment to learner development, lifelong learning, and service to the community.
