AUF Medicine Student Council

The Angeles University Foundation expresses its pride in the appointment of Dr. Michael Dizon, College Secretary of the AUF School of Medicine and AUF alumnus, as Deputy Secretary General of the Medical Association of South East Asian Nations (MASEAN).

The Medical Association of South East Asian Nations (MASEAN) is a regional organization that brings together national medical associations across Southeast Asia to promote collaboration, professional exchange, and shared advancement in healthcare.

Dr. Dizon served as part of the Philippine Medical Association delegation at the 21st MASEAN Conference held from 4–6 May 2026 in Panglao, engaging with distinguished medical leaders from across the region, including newly installed Chairman Dr. Hector M. Santos, Jr.

His appointment as Deputy Secretary General reflects both his leadership in the medical field and the continued recognition of AUF’s contributions to regional and international health discourse.

Presented by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), the awarding was held at the Philippine International Convention Center on November 22, 2024, and was attended by AUF SOM Dean Dr. Evelyn Yumiaco, AUF SOM Assistant Dean Dr. Aileen Icban, and College Secretary Dr. Michael Dizon.

This exceptional feat is a testament to the dedication, hard work, and excellence that both the faculty and students consistently demonstrate. The University applauds your unwavering commitment to producing world-class physicians who will surely make an impact in the healthcare field.
