We are thrilled to share that the 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (BSNED) program at 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗦 has officially been awarded 𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗦 by the 𝗔𝗟𝗖𝗨𝗖𝗢𝗔 (Association of Local Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation).

This recognition reflects the unwavering dedication of our faculty, administration, and students to upholding high academic standards and fostering excellence in special education. The certificate, valid from March 2026 to March 2028, marks a vital step forward in our continuous pursuit of quality education, institutional excellence, and compliance.

While we celebrate this achievement, we recognize that this is only the beginning of an even greater journey. This milestone inspires us to continue improving, innovating, and strengthening our commitment to preparing future special needs educators who will make a meaningful impact in the lives of learners and communities.

With grateful hearts, the graduating BSNED students of City College of Angeles had the opportunity to spend a meaningful day with the Deaf Community of Holy Rosary Parish through our annual gift-giving activity.

More than the gifts we shared, this experience gave us the chance to connect, learn, and create joyful memories together. We are sincerely grateful to our BSNED Coordinator for the guidance and to Mr. Jovey Guevarra, Head of the Deaf Community, for his warm welcome and unwavering support.

As future special needs education teachers, experiences like this inspire us to continue advocating for inclusion, understanding, and respect for every individual. It reminds us that even simple acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

The Bachelor of Special Needs Education freshmen officially embarked on a new chapter as they gathered at the Bulwagang Angeleno Hall, City College of Angeles for their Freshman Orientation. 💙

The program began with inspiring opening remarks from Dr. Levita P. Deguzman, Dean of the Institute of Education, Arts, and Sciences (IEAS), followed by an informative and engaging discussion led by Mr. Shyan Kayle I. Villanueva, Program Coordinator of the Bachelor of Special Needs Education (BSNEd). The students were introduced to the values, responsibilities, and meaningful journey of becoming future educators and advocates for inclusive education.

This orientation served not only as a welcome to college life, but also as a reminder that every learner deserves understanding, acceptance, and equal opportunities to thrive. 🌈✨

The Bachelor of Special Needs Education (BSNEd) has officially conquered the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET)! This achievement is more than just passing an examination — it is a testament to passion, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to serving learners with diverse needs. ♥️

With an impressive 88.24% institutional passing rate, surpassing the 53.06% national passing rate, the BSNEd community once again proved its excellence in teacher education and commitment to inclusive learning. 👏🏼

The City College of Angeles and the Alliance of Special Needs Education Teachers proudly celebrate this remarkable milestone. These new Licensed Professional Teachers are not only educators, but also advocates of inclusivity, compassion, and hope. 𝑻𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝑪𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒅 🤍✨

A meaningful step toward strengthening ECCD Teachers in Inclusive Early Childhood Education for Holistic and Equitable Development was successfully held on April 30, 2026, at the 𝑴𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑷𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒄—uniting educators, advocates, and future teachers in one shared commitment: inclusion for every child.

This impactful seminar was led by 𝑴𝒓. 𝑺𝒉𝒚𝒂𝒏 𝑲𝒂𝒚𝒍𝒆 𝑰. 𝑽𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒖𝒆𝒗𝒂, Program Coordinator of the Bachelor of Special Needs Education, who, together with 𝑴𝒔. 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝑹𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝑩𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒄𝒂𝒚𝒂𝒐, 𝑴𝒔. 𝑷𝒂𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒂 𝑩𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒎𝒆, and 𝑴𝒔. 𝑳𝒐𝒖𝒊𝒔𝒆 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝑭𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒔, served as insightful speakers who shared valuable knowledge, experiences, and perspectives on inclusive early childhood education. Together with 𝑴𝒔. 𝑨𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝑱𝒐𝒚 𝑨𝒓𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒏 and 𝑴𝒔. 𝒁𝒊𝒏𝒂 𝑫𝒐𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒚 𝑽𝒆𝒏𝒂𝒔𝒒𝒖𝒆𝒛, we proudly represented City College of Angeles—working as one team in promoting inclusive and equitable education for all learners.

On March 2026, a meaningful Culminating Activity was organized by the Bachelor of Special Needs Education students of the City College of Angeles.

This special event was participated by partner schools including Angeles Elementary School, Handprints School of Progressive Education, Gueco Balibago Elementary School, and Salapungan Elementary School.

Each school prepared and facilitated different activities, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere for everyone involved. The activities were thoughtfully designed to express appreciation and gratitude for the partner schools’ acceptance and support in allowing the students under the said program to undertake their practice teaching journey with them.

Through collaboration, participation, and shared experiences, the event became a heartfelt celebration of partnership, learning, and gratitude between the City College of Angeles and its cooperating schools.

The Alliance of Special Needs Education Teachers proudly joins the global community in celebrating National Autism Acceptance & Awareness Month this April. This meaningful observance encourages us to deepen our understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), promote acceptance, and support individuals on the spectrum.

At the same time, we commemorate Araw ng Kagitingan to honor not only the heroes of our nation’s history, but also the everyday heroes—parents, caregivers, educators, and individuals with ASD—who demonstrate courage through unconditional love, patience, and resilience. 💙

• To raises awareness and understanding of individuals with ASD.
• Celebrates the unique strengths and talents of individuals with ASD.

Today, February 27, 2026, marks a significant milestone for inclusive education in Angeles City! 🤝✨

The Alliance of Special Needs Education Teachers (ASET), in collaboration with the Community Extension Office and the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) - Angeles City, successfully launched the first session of our seminar series:

📖 "Hand in Hand for Every Child: Empowering ECCD Teachers through Inclusive Early Childhood Care and Development."

Hosted at the Angeles City Hall, this session focused on “The ECCD Teacher as a Foundation Builder for Inclusive Learning.” 🧱🏫

Why This Matters 💡

Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) is the bedrock of lifelong growth. We recognize that our Day Care workers are the first line of support for children. To ensure no child is left behind, we are bridging the gaps in:
