With grateful hearts, the graduating BSNED students of City College of Angeles had the opportunity to spend a meaningful day with the Deaf Community of Holy Rosary Parish through our annual gift-giving activity.

More than the gifts we shared, this experience gave us the chance to connect, learn, and create joyful memories together. We are sincerely grateful to our BSNED Coordinator for the guidance and to Mr. Jovey Guevarra, Head of the Deaf Community, for his warm welcome and unwavering support.

As future special needs education teachers, experiences like this inspire us to continue advocating for inclusion, understanding, and respect for every individual. It reminds us that even simple acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Thank you to everyone who shared their time, effort, and generosity to make this activity possible. Together, we continue to build a more inclusive and compassionate community.

On March 2026, a meaningful Culminating Activity was organized by the Bachelor of Special Needs Education students of the City College of Angeles.

This special event was participated by partner schools including Angeles Elementary School, Handprints School of Progressive Education, Gueco Balibago Elementary School, and Salapungan Elementary School.

๐ŸŒŸ BUILDING THE FOUNDATION: Hand in Hand for Every Child ๐ŸŒŸ

Today, February 27, 2026, marks a significant milestone for inclusive education in Angeles City! ๐Ÿคโœจ

The Alliance of Special Needs Education Teachers (ASET), in collaboration with the Community Extension Office and the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) - Angeles City, successfully launched the first session of our seminar series:

๐Ÿ“– "Hand in Hand for Every Child: Empowering ECCD Teachers through Inclusive Early Childhood Care and Development."

Hosted at the Angeles City Hall, this session focused on โ€œThe ECCD Teacher as a Foundation Builder for Inclusive Learning.โ€ ๐Ÿงฑ๐Ÿซ

Why This Matters ๐Ÿ’ก

Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) is the bedrock of lifelong growth. We recognize that our Day Care workers are the first line of support for children. To ensure no child is left behind, we are bridging the gaps in:

โœ… Inclusive & Special Education training
โœ… Resource management for diverse learners
โœ… Strategic classroom stress management

Highlights from the First Session ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ

Our dedicated speakers shared vital insights to kickstart this quarter-long capacity-building initiative:

โ€ข Foundations of Special and Inclusive Education. Presented by Mr. Shyan Kayle I. Villanueva (ASET Adviser & CCA-BSNEd Coordinator)

โ€ข Child Development Milestones & Early Identification. Presented by Ms. Patricia Mae Bartolome (ASET General Secretary)

โ€ขThe Roles of ECCD Teachers in Inclusive Settings. Presented by Mr. John Carlo Dionisio (ASET President)

Our Commitment ๐ŸŒฑ

Through sustained mentoring and collaboration, we are empowering our ECCD teachers to create safe, engaging, and accessible learning environments where every childโ€”regardless of abilityโ€”can learn and succeed.

Together, we are not just teaching; we are building a more inclusive future for Angeles City! ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ’™
