Angeles University Foundation joins the Archdiocese of San Fernando and the Kapampangan faithful in celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Canonical Coronation of the Virgen de los Remedios, Patroness of Pampanga.
This yearโs celebration takes on a deeper meaning as it unfolds during the Season of Creation, a time when the Church calls us to renew our relationship with God, with one another, and with all creation. Inspired by the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi, the celebration embraces intentional simplicity and solidarity under the theme:
โ๐๐ฃ๐๐ช ๐ฃ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐พ๐๐ฅ๐๐ก๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ฃ, ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฃ๐ ๐ฃ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐พ๐๐ฅ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฅ๐๐ฃโ
Mother of Remedies, Queen of Peace
In the midst of the recent flooding and hardships experienced by many Kapampangans, devotion to our beloved Indu becomes a concrete expression of faith, charity, stewardship, and malasakit. In keeping with the Archdioceseโs call for a simpler and more meaningful celebration, resources are being directed toward relief and humanitarian efforts for affected families.
On September 8, 2026 (Tuesday), the AUF community will celebrate the Solemnity of the Virgen de los Remedios with a Eucharistic Celebration at 10:00 AM in the Our Lady of Grace Chapel. All Angeleneans are invited to come together in prayer and thanksgiving. Mass collections and voluntary donations will be forwarded to the Social Action Center of Pampanga (SACOP) in support of families and communities affected by the recent calamities.
The Archdiocesan celebration will likewise take place at the Repository Chapel of the Virgen de los Remedios, Arzobispado de Pampanga, City of San Fernando, with Masses throughout the day. The reenactment of the Canonical Coronation will take place at 3:00 PM, together with the Holy Mass to be presided over by Most Rev. Florentino G. Lavarias, D.D., Archbishop of San Fernando. The celebration will be livestreamed through the official page of the Archdiocese.
As we honor Mary, Indu ning Capaldanan, may we learn from her to bring Christโs healing and peace to those who suffer, and to become faithful stewards of the home God has entrusted to us.
Virgen de los Remedios, Indu ning Capaldanan, ipanalangin mu kami.
Sto. Cristo del Perdรณn y Caridad, Ginung mapamacalulu, pacaluluan mu kami.
