Daily Verse

O Savior, you chose the lowly things of this world, the poor, the downtrodden, the uneducated, the weak, far more than the affluent and wealthy. You did this for your glory to discourage boasting. Let us all, as Christians, partake of a single Christian "culture" and not divide into our separate groups and neglect to relate to those outside of that group. We are one in you, let us act like it. Amen.

Dear God, The tasks You assign us feel overwhelming. We have faith in Your plan and call upon You for wisdom and instruction as we complete all works in Your name. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Dear Father, we have multiple decisions to make in our lifetime. Whether big or small, we will come to You for direction and always seek Your will. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Through Jesus Christ alone are we made "alive unto God. " If we are dead to sin, then it wil lose its power over us. If we are alive to God, we will respond in love and obedience to his Word and his Spirit

Lord, help us to see that your punishment for sin is just and to sense something of the true heinousness of sin. Help us to appreciate more fully how much we were forgiven, and having been forgiven much, to love much. Amen.

Through prayer, we ask for God's assistance through trials and tribulations. We request positive outcomes, mercy, and peace. We can talk with the Lord about all our concerns for ourselves, our world, and the lives of others. He allows us to bare our souls, and He always listens as we come before Him with humble hearts. We will always seek His will before anything else.

Father, I humbly present myself as one who has chosen to turn away from their sinful ways. It is a choice I made when I chose to follow you and Lord, it is a choice I intend to abide in. Father, help me to walk in a way that is worthy of this calling. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
