As part of the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, the High School Library has included its special collection of books featuring the beloved founders of RCC, with their titles “Rafael: His Life and Times,” “The Eight Wonders of My World,” “Cong Tarzan Lazatin: A Public Life, and the history of the school detailed in the book “RCC 75 Years of Dedicated Service to the Filipino.”

The books are available for browsing from November 25 - 29, 2024 from 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM at the High School Library.

𝐇𝐒 𝐋𝐢𝐛 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝟗𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤

High school students around the campus of RCC relish their passion for literature and amusement as the High School library department conducts the 90th National Book Week with the theme "Magbasa, Mangarap, Magdiwang!", alongside the Young Readers Club on the 25th of November, 2024.

The program commenced at 7:30 am at the High School library. The event started promptly after Ms. Pilar Moyano, the Chief Librarian of the Library Department, delivered her welcoming speech. Mr. Airwin Ditianquin, Head of the Office of Student Affairs, Dr. Shirly D. Lazatin, the Principal of the High School Department, and Dr. Gloria B. Abrazado, the Vice President of Academic Affairs, appeared to support the event.

Several activities were held to thrill students, including a book exhibition showcasing newly acquired books and literary works, as well as board games to entertain and cultivate critical thinking skills. The event will last for 4 days, from November 25 to 29, 2024.

The said program is available from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM for all students in the High School library.
