Pursuant the Advisory issued by the local government, for 19 AUGUST 2026, all scheduled ON-SITE work and FACE-TO-FACE classes, in all levels, and including clinical and community duties, are suspended due to inclement weather.

Thus, in consideration of the foregoing:

A.) All scheduled face-to-face classes, (instructional, community and clinical) shall be shifted to online ASYNCHRONOUS modality.

B.)In lieu of face-to-face work, online modality shall be applied in conformity with the WFH policies of this institution.

Please be advised that this announcement supersedes the previous announcement.

𝐁𝐋𝐔𝐄 𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘 : SUSPENSION OF CLASSES AND WORK

Due to the forecasted inclement weather and to ensure the safety and well-being of the entire SPCF community, all classes and work-related activities across all levels and offices are SUSPENDED on August 6, 2026.

In view thereof, the following guidelines shall be observed:

A. Teaching and Learning

• All scheduled classes, including instructional, clinical, and community activities, are SUSPENDED on the aforementioned date.

B. Teaching Personnel

• All teaching personnel are NOT REQUIRED TO REPORT ON-SITE and shall be excused from their regular work duties for the day.

C. Non-Teaching Personnel

• All non-teaching personnel are likewise NOT REQUIRED TO REPORT ON-SITE and shall be excused from their regular work duties for the day.

Everyone is advised to prioritize safety and preparedness and to stay tuned to official SPCF announcements for further updates.

As the Philippines steps into the global technology supply chain through initiatives such as Pax Silica, we are told of progress, innovation, and opportunity. But beyond these promises, we must also ask: 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀?

Who gains from our land, our resources, and what lies beneath our soil? And as we pursue development, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘄𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻?

Progress should not only be measured by what we gain, but also by what we risk losing—and who is left to bear the cost.
