IN FOCUS: The Head of the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), Mr. Airwin Ditianquin, and the OIC of the Guidance and Counseling Office (GCO), Ms. Patricia Mae Condes, attended the 𝐏𝐀𝐏𝐒𝐀𝐒 𝐈𝐈𝐈 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 with the theme “𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐠𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐲: 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐀𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟐 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞" held on December 12, 2025, at the Holy Angel University in Angeles City.

The Associate Dean of the John Wesley School of Law and Governance at Wesleyan University, Atty. Darren Javier Gonzales served as the resource speaker. Best practices from Student Affairs and Services (SAS) at select colleges and universities in the region were also shared in the afternoon session.

In observance of World AIDS Day, the RCC Supreme Student Council (SSC) and the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), in coordination with the Angeles City Health Office (ACHO), will conduct an HIV/AIDS Awareness Seminar.

This activity aims to deepen students' understanding of HIV and AIDS by discussing prevention, the realities of stigma, and the importance of community support. Through this seminar, the SSC, OSA, and ACHO hope to equip students with credible information and the confidence to promote compassion, safety, and responsible choices within their community.

This is also an opportunity to broaden students' knowledge, engage in meaningful conversations, and contribute to building a more informed and empathetic society.

The Angeles City Youth Development Office (ACYDO) concluded the awarding ceremony for the Angeleño Youth Leadership Awards (AYLA) 2025 yesterday, November 17, at the Plaza Victoria Function Hall in Angeles City.

Robb Gabriel I. Basco, a BSED English IV student, was named this year’s Overall Most Outstanding Angeleño Youth Leader (Community-Based Category). He also received a minor distinction as a Model of Excellence in Journalism Award.

The category likewise recognized its finalists, Lorilie May M. Dayrit and Jan Rei C. Halili, both from BSED English IV.

Marking its second year of conduct, the Angeles City Youth Development Office (ACYDO) revealed the official finalists for the Angeleño Youth Leadership Awards (AYLA) 2025 among different categories to proceed for the panel interviews, October 21.

The list, posted in their official page, include three RCC students from the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education (CASED) among the 13 finalists for the award Outstanding Angeleño Youth Leader, namely Robb Gabriel I. Basco, Lorilie May M. Dayrit, and Jan Rei C. Halili, with all three of them representing The Playhouse Project of Pampanga.
