When I grow up,
I want be a chef, cooking for the people I love.
When I grow up,
I want to be a doctor, to treat those I find dear.
When I grow up,
I want to be an artist, skilled with a brush or the pen to be able to craft out amazing things to life.
When I grow up,
I want to be a teacher, to give out knowledge and help other to discover what I have.
When I grow up,
I want to be like my mom, someone who is caring and kind but firm and strong all on her own.
When I grow up,
I want to be like my mom, facing her battles quietly but still able to take care of me and our family.
When I grow up,
I want to realize that all these dreams, all this wishes, all of it was made possible by a single person.
When I grow up,
I will come to realize that a mother's love is formidable enough to be able to accomplish all of this and so much more.
When I grow up,
I will be like my mom, beautiful and kind and brave.
Now and when I grow up,
I will cherish her for she is the one person that made me who I am today. My first teacher, my first nurse, my first chef, my first idol, my first everything.
Now and when I grow up,
I would forever be grateful to my one and only mom the woman of every dream and hope.
