May mga paang muling aapak—hindi upang magpakitang-gilas, kundi upang isabuhay ang ugat ng ating pinagmulan

Ang bawat indak ay panalangin.
Ang bawat kumpas ay salaysay ng bayang hindi kumukupas, hindi napapawi, hindi nakakalimot

Sa kumpas ng paa, umaawit ang kultura,
Sa pintig ng tambol, nagigising ang diwa,

At sa galaw ng katawan, nagkakaisa ang masa.

Ngayong Abril 25, taong kasalukuyan, muling sisiklab ang alab ng pananampalataya sa pagsisimula ng Nobenaryo bilang paghahanda sa kapistahan ni Santa Monica, patron ng bayan ng Angat. Sa makulay na pagbubukas nito, muling magbabalik sa indakan sa kalye ang Barangay Santa Cruz—dala ang husay, sigla, at dangal ng mga mananayaw na kinatawan ng mga mag-aaral mula sa Pres. Diosdado P. Macapagal Memorial High School.

Matapos ang kanilang matagumpay na pagtatanghal sa GulayAngat Festival kung saan kanilang nakamit ang Unang Gantimpala, muli nilang ipapamalas ang kanilang talento at dedikasyon bilang handog sa sambayanan at bilang pagsaludo sa ating tradisyon at pananampalataya.

Sa bawat galaw, hindi lamang sayaw ang ipinapakita, kundi isang kwento ng pagkakaisa, pasasalamat, at pagmamahal sa bayan.

💜| Rhythms of Faith: A Tribute to Sinulog

With every beat of the drum and every powerful step, the Dance Club proudly brought the vibrant spirit of Sinulog to life. Sinulog is one of the grandest and most celebrated festivals in the Philippines, held every January in Cebu in honor of the Santo Niño (Child Jesus). The word “Sinulog” comes from the Cebuano term “sulog,” meaning “like a water current,” symbolizing the graceful forward-and-backward movement of the dance that reflects the flow of history and faith.

Deeply rooted in both pre-colonial traditions and Christian devotion, Sinulog represents the rich cultural heritage of the Filipino people. Through rhythmic movements, colorful choreography, and synchronized formations, the dancers honored not only a festival but a legacy of belief, unity, and gratitude.

More than a performance, this was a celebration of culture, passion, and teamwork—an offering of energy and heart to a tradition that continues to inspire generations. Viva Pit Señor!
